Umm, isn't that what the constitution says? States rights>Federal rights? i.e. the states should determine what they do and do not want to do? That's not how it works in practice today, but that's a whole separate discussion.
Whoa, it's not like Walmart isn't one of the biggest retailers in the US. They have voted with their wallets. Most people buy crap. The problem is that most people buy more crap than they can afford.
People who have those jobs (and I know because I've been there) have to lump themselves together with relatives or friends and edge a meager existence.
This is one of the big differences between East and West.
We in the West see this a s a negative - can't live on my own. Those in the East see this as living - part of being a family, helping younger & older generations. With the bonus of a cheaper cost of living per person.
I have an uncle (in-law) who does exactly this. But does it for gov't stuff. Automated parsing of press release, trades based on those parsings. Tune for next release.
Also, according to wikipedia, the states are under the federal requirements of eminent domain (5th amendment) because of the due process from the 14th amendment.
" the court held that the eminent domain provisions of the Fifth Amendment were incorporated in the Due Process Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment and thus were now binding on the states, or in other words, the states are required to take property for a public purpose and compensate the property owner for his loss."

You want it to leak all over your bed??
Ewwww.
That's revenue (total sales), not income (profits).
MSFT made $23B last year. Which is $10B more than AAPL made last quarter.
You don't live in the west, do you?
You might want to look up water rights. They're often worth more than land.
Pervert.
Well, huge scorpions might explain the sighting on lower resolutions pictures - from 1982.
Guess what? Apple does pay a living wage. Just not living in America. Why is that wrong?

The real question would be why can't they do it in time if plants are in America?
It's not like it takes that long to ship product back and forth. They might need 48-60 hours instead of 24.
Unions? Equipment? Management? Policy? Attitudes?
Pretty sure that you missed the main point of the article - there is no more "large-scale US labor" for technical products.

I've been to Charleston. Those are their top people working on it. Top people.
Plus, that's part of the lower cost of labor which is why Boeing moved there. Gotta take the good with the bad.
BUT WHAT ABOUT THE COMPILER'S BUGS!!!!
(laugh, it's funny and full of filter letters)
Did you just seriously say that there are no more software bugs in their code?
You're the reason lawyers exist.

I'm not saying that isn't happening. I'm saying it's wrong, illegal, immoral, and against the spirit of the amendment.
Just curious, but what about former members of Congress? What if the crimes are committed while they're not in office?
No, you were posting an unnecessary comment, telling me to not post an unnecessary comment.
Fuck off, you're not the comment police. You're being a prick. Still.
Seriously?
Don't be a fucking asshole, telling others not to do what you're doing.
I oppose this thinking:
" an investigation as to what happened is called for. "
Because it's bullshit. Nothing legally wrong was done. Why should the police be involved?
Seriously? You think that the police are the ones who should deal with it in a way that doesn't let it grow into something worse?
What the fuck is wrong with you?
