    CD's are purposely marketed and sold to minors.
    Porn isn't.

    So the GP has a valid point. Can Sony get sued for trying to force/enforce an illegal contract?

    So, it's only going to take half an hour to read, understand, and modify those settings?

    I think it might take your average windows user half an hour to understand all the words in the TITLE of each link.

    Just because it's easy for you, with years of experience, does not mean it's easy for everyone. No way in hell I could get my parents to do those steps, even if I explained it in very general terms why it was SOOO good for them.

    Sometimes making a better choice that is more secure by default means you don't have to do all that work, or worry about it.

    Frankly, if you're open to getting a virus or trojan WHILE BROWSING, you're using the wrong browser/OS.

    There are plenty of options where this just isn't a possibility. Use one, any one.

    Eliminating a couple feet of cable and a small piece of plastic is not a big deal.

    No kids, eh? Seriously, it is a big deal. My kids will eat, pull or rip anything within their reach, which gets bigger every day.

    Infuriates you? Man, I'd hate to be driving in front of you.

    Apple Remote Destop or ARD is the product name for Apple's remote control.
    Remote Desktop Connection or RDC is the product name for MS's remote control.

    And they're both very good products for what they do. RDC could add a few features, but it's good at controlling a remote Windows box.

    It doesn't DOS in Safari, at least version 1.3.1(v312.3.1) (Man, that's a weird naming convention.

    Didn't see anyone else saying it did or did not, but it just popped open a new java window for me. That's it. No 100% CPU, etc.

    You mean like every cable company that's delivering several HD channels to every client ALL the time? It may not be internet access, but it is bandwidth that's already in place.
