You are missing the whole point, money is a problem on it's own. Everyone wants to profit because that's how a capitalistic society works. People don't understand that if you work hard, you'll earn more. Too many people want to avoid work altogether and make millions.
Copyrighting is bulls^@# because to say that one human mind can create something and another can not is ludicrous. In our society, it is more lucrative to release a cheap product that looks nice, but will break than it is to release a good quality product.
Don't you all see how wrong that is? The world is going in the wrong direction and money is the road sign pointing it there.
This is all so stupid, if you buy DRM'd music, burn it to CD, then reencode it to MP3. BAMMM! no DRM anymore.
Why don't these dinosaur sized companies have someone to tell them that there is no way to truly protect their music, and I use 'their' as loosely as possible.
The greed behind it all is blinding them to reality. DRM is NOT a good idea on ANY front. It does't stop anyone from doing anything, and it sure as heck doesn't have any advantages.
You're acting just like Cisco, getting all worked up over features of a product that doesn't exist yet. How can you claim to know anything about it's 3rd party support when it's not even on the market yet? And if you think that NOTHING is going to change between now and June, think again. I wouldn't be surprised one bit if the iPhone not only changed name, but changed features, form factor, color and expanded in choice between now and June. 8gb will likely be the standard by this summer and I can't imagine that being the high-end iPhone at all. You're simply jumping the gun.
First of all, Mac OS X.5 will be 64 bit. Also, there will be boot camp built in, a couple new apps, new features. Oh and it's a fraction of the price of Windows.
As many have said, a system is only as safe as you build it. Besides, you could probably make the fueling station ungrounded making electrocution all but impossible. Besides, gasoline is no safer.
