    Why don't you all do like me, download what ever album of your favorite p2p network, and then send a dollar or two directly to the artist. Belive it or not if everyone did this the artist' profits would more than double. (ok i guess thats pretty belivable :))

    Good point, just look at the inverse here. What if drug user made a "vaccine" that would permanently "cure" people of their sobberness!

    Reminds me of case's pancreas in neuromancer. Notice in this book, people just came up with more powerful, and dangerous drugs that could get passed such things (i.e. betaphenethylamine), seems like a logical next step for drug dealers to to me (assumeing this drug actually happens, and is mandated).

    I was playing superman and and ended fractureing my collar bone. Had to put up with a sling and brace on my back. I couldn't post on slashdot for weeks. In retrospect I'm glad it happend, taught me a valuable lesson, plus I have this great bionic arm. but seriously hasn't this happend to all/most of us? Is this really news worthy?

    Many cable descramblers are programmable, and they allow you to block the channels your not paying for, effectivly the same thing the cable company is doing when they bring their box into your home.
