I love the use of AJAX these days. I added an AJAX powered shoutbox to my blog and people are using it like a IM client. The power of reading things real time without reloading is amazing.
It's funny watching your Roundcube inbox and just seeing new e-mails pop in place. It makes me feel like I'm using a desktop application.
This is where web applications are going these days... Easy to learn, easy to use. Hell.. even my grandma is using it.
Just like every other university teaches Pascal 1.0.
I don't know if I can agree after not learning OO programing from Pascal 1.0, yet after using it for a few things way back when I can see how it has some good learning abilities.
What do you think?
I had the chance to meet Bill Nye back in 2003 at the prelaunch party for the first Mars rover launch in Florida. He was going on about the possibility of water on Mars and some other interesting stuff. He sure looked like he was going strong then... actually I was quite impressed.
Good thing I bought that spot of land on Mars from that dude in the infomercial on TV. I think the value just appreciated!
Yep.. this is why I avoided any writing classes

Throughout my university career I've manage to avoid all english/writing classes that involved writing a paper. If you hate writing things other then i = i + 1, then give it a try! It's not that hard to plan your schedule to avoid it.
Yes, I did write that one research paper for a computer science class, but then again it was on a subject that I knew really well and I actually had fun creating it.
Book reports?! Yeah right....
They don't even allow cell phones.

I don't know about you guys, but our hospitals up in Canada don't allow the use of cell phones within the building. I guess they figure that they may interfere with some of the life support machinery.
Now their allowing some robots to run around? Sounds a little iffy to me don't you think? I think I would be a little scared if I was half-a-wake and some nurse was giving me some needle that a robot just handed her. You might even think you were abducted by aliens!

If you wait a couple years you might find one of these in a McKids Meal! I just wish I had all these new cool gadgets when I was growing up.
Now I can fit all my 16 seasons of Simpsons episodes on 1 DVD! Nice!
