    Yes, but the point I was making is that if a luser USES outlook and it's variants, the URL would look normal due to the bug in IE (cos lookout uses IE to parse). Other mailers show it as such for what the URL really is. If you click it then, well... Nick

    Yes, but if you use Outlook (and it's variants) all you see is the spoofed @URL because it uses IE to render it. Nick

    I believe M$ said that this wasn't important to fix. Moz and all the others had it patched the same very day it was posted on bugtraq.

    Without being arsed to look it up, I though the Guy that coded the VAX VMS system was bought in by M$ (bought not a typo to -> brought) to do the NT kernel...

    There is the myth/fact WNT is one character up in the alphabet from VMS, ala HAL and IBM...

    I am in UK, and saw this coming a while back so for that reason (or 'tha treason' as I just typed) I bought a business ADSL deal (also I wanted 5 'real' IP's). Bloody expensive, though, but I do have no bandwidth worries.
    They are bound to start this, much the same way ISP's introduced the 2 hour cut-off here on 56 dial-up when FRIACO was introduced.

    Fortunately my Company Finance Guys talk to me in first instant - and they believe me when I explain what M$ are really saying (plus the fact of being tied in for the next 5 years of unwanted costs). I am currently about to turn down the expense of MSSQL 7.0 sp2 for the very reason of this 'stuck with it' prinicple in the licencing. Nick

    In 50 years time, the Martians will still be arguing about the event, with the Martian Government denying it was nothing at all except a top secret weather balloon - producing 'balloon like material' as evidence from the original wreckage.
