Basic chemistry. When you dilute something, its concentration goes down.
Not just bioconcentration
You are mis-using this term. Bioconcentration is what organisms do inside their bodies with a substance once they consume it.
Water pollution is measured by the amount of solute in some quantity of water. Add more water and the concentration goes down. That's why you see more algae and pond scum in stagnant water.
people aren't willing to pay for the increase in cost
Some are. Some people are willing to pay $20K for a first class cabin on Ethiad. Sure, most of the riff-raff whine about economy fairs and put up with bruised shins on 10 hour flights. But the mistake that airlines are making is to try and make money off cheap seats.
Well then, enjoy your lightning. Because it produces more NOx than vehicles do. And if you really don't like it, you must hate plants. It is part of the Nitrogen cycle, without which YOU WOULD'NT EAT.
Because many of the emissions regulations were written for social engineering purposes. Not to actually clean up air. A few simple fixes do make some sense. Like not venting gasoline and crankcase fumes to the atmosphere. Easy fixes. But the whole NOx regulation thing was due to a bunch of no-cars liberals getting a hard on over muscle cars in the '60s and '70s. Muscle cars (and diesels) have high compression ratios, higher combustion temperatures, burn fuel (and particulates) more efficiently, but produce NOx. Not really a bad tradeoff, as NOx is naturally occurring (see the Nitrogen Cycle). It might be a problem in the LA basin, but California can go fuck themselves for building cities in unsuitable environments. In the rest of the country, NOx is a non issue.
There is a trade-off between burning diesel fuel hotter for higher performance and lower particulates, but higher NOx. And burning cooler for lower NOx, but lower particulates and lower performance. VW simply chose the solution which best suits emissions issues in 99% of the world.
... because my employer is nuts. And people suffering from mental afflictions don't have the capacity to enter into contracts.
Seriously, corporations (as people) are psychopathic by nature because they have no innate morality or empathy. Even if individuals within a corporation are not, they are duty bound to act in the best interests of the organization and it's shareholders.
As long as I'm on the payroll, I'll keep my opinions about my employer to myself. Or between myself and my employer. Once I leave, the contract is no longer in effect. And I'm free to say what I want.
Why would I want to continue to work for a company that I disrespected to the point of bad-mouthing them?
But in the USA, we all aspire to move to the big end of town. If you live in a socialist economy you might be content with never moving up. That's the 'bucket of crabs' analogy at work.
In fact, many cops would call that a win.
Until that cop tries to fire his own gun and is denied.
Nobody is forced to use US banks, use US currency, or financial services
Try paying your US taxes in Euros or Bitcoin. Look up the definition of 'fiat money'.
And try telling this to Saddam Hussein.
I just wear sunglasses under a #12 welding helmet.
Dilution doesn't matter because of concentration.

And with a given nitrate production, an increase in rainfall would tend to dilute the nitrates in the runoff.
Right. And please grab me a copy of that paper on midi-chlorians when you do.
It appears to be seventy-two.
Is this a statistically valid sample size for P0.005? Have they repeated the study with different study teams to see if the results are repeatable?
Citizen. It appears that you are using an older version of the Newspeak Dictionary. Off to Room 101 with you.
Avoiding a Godwin Law ruling on a technicality: Good job schwit1.
When you get hired away with better offers numerous times, how do the hiring managers view that?

NOx is hugely harmful to health
Well then, enjoy your lightning. Because it produces more NOx than vehicles do. And if you really don't like it, you must hate plants. It is part of the Nitrogen cycle, without which YOU WOULD'NT EAT.
This, exactly.

Well, there goes my business plan for a BDSM dungeon.
A reactor in Chernobyl melted down. Thank goodness this was a singular event, not likely to ever happen again.
Life must be really bad if you can't find employment other than at the worst shithole in the world.
Well then, we'll just switch to the cheaper Chinese stuff.

If N Mach 8 hypersonic missiles can overwhelm a laser defense, then 10*N Mach 0.8 missiles can do so as well.
can be changed if people wanted to
Not so much in collectivist cultures. Peer pressure will have most people voting against their own self interests.

Came to post this. Left satisfied.
