    Did i say replace? Learn to read.I drove an 18 wheeler at one time and yes alot can be railed from one side of the country to the other much more then there is now. I also unloaded rail cars. Steel coil cars,flat steel,news print,plywood. hence my sig

    You forget another. Lawsuits. A couple of accidents and the car maker the programmers will get sued into oblivion making it far to expensive for the insurance to drive the cars if the cars would be continued to be made. I can see the lawyers salivation already.

    There will always be a rest period for truck drivers auto driven or not. Ya still have to be in the truck, you still have to refuel the truck and have lunch, take a piss, eat have time off. what you describe is more like a prison then working.Not going to happen dude what you wish for can already be done by train.

    I pay my taxes i pay fuel tax driver license,car registration, car Inspections i can drive what were i want. maybe the auto-car should have its own highway funded all by auto car owners. i have predicted this is just a pipe dream anyways. 1 the cars will be too expensive, second the government isn't going to give up its Tickets they fund budgets. Not enough care to give up driving there own cars. Want to go somewhere and not have to pay attention to the roads? Take the train or bus. Just because something can be done doesn't mean it should be.

    You actually beleave company's give you what you have now if not being forced too? Minimum wage or the threat of a Union being formed. Blame Corporations for moving out of our country to use slave labor wages to make a bigger profit. They dont care about the human factor when it comes to dollars and cents they can always force you to work over time or change your hours at a moments notice. They also use the lower our tax rate threat as a reason for moving from one state to another Or like NFL Owners who use the threat of moving to get a stadium build and make higher taxes and lower the amount for our school system do ya see a pattern here Lier?

    They see the light at the end of the tunnel meaning not must more can be added with todays Technology and they have stretched out the so called "New Version" as much as the market will bare. We are under no obligation to keep them in business by renting software which will mean it will be run from some server somewhere on a computer running more copy's of the software then it should and also copy everything made for the NSA or whatever government department that needs free graphics or free graphic software. Do i sound cynical? Ive seen this coming ages ago the cloud was the first step second step rent cloud software. Problem they are untrustable wither its spying for the NSA or Spying to give you some advertisements along with your rented copy of whatever.

    They were not counting on them getting caught spying for the NSA and anyone saying that the so called cloud can be trusted has been brainwashed or payed to say its safe or loose a ton of money when people really start getting a clue :}

    You would do well by reading US history of Unions and you should thank them for making YOUR life easier. Its amazing how people conveniently forget how we get to where we are now. And have you done any research as to Chili Economy and what jobs drive it? Maybe they could work in the copper mines i hear it pays well.

    Linux on the desktop is a total failure with a total world wide usership of 1.2 % Ubuntu comes with per-installed spy ware and why should we trust Linux anymore then MS? It still requires a firewall, it still requires an anti-virus program, it requires a password safe to protect passwords and there are plenty of malware and viruses for Linux including the per-installed on on Ubuntu. I dont trust any OS MS or otherwise.

    Buddy there is only 1 guarantee in life and that is death. Ive been hit by a car at 10 i was also rear-ended by an 18 wheeler doing 75 miles per hour that fell asleep and i still wouldn't give up control of MY car.

    This isnt a pissing contest but you made it one I simply stated in the original i dont want anyone controlling my car except me and no i dont trust engineers, software especially so. And why should we trust a 4 yr engineer who at most probability has cheated in classes and no real world experiences. And its too bad you dont like the statistics thats ONLY 10 examples as i stated and proved my point.
