Please explain why the print media had made billions of dollars all without the ability to track its readership? Same for magazines they are loaded with advertisements that interest its readers. Why must advertiser spy on us without permission? And they are advertising stuff that doesn't even remotely mirror the web sites content. The reason that amendment is not enforced is because us Americans are too stinking lazy to call out our government officials. Fill the capital with a few million people and that might change but complaining about it on Slashdot does nothing. we all can quote the 4th till our mouths bleed it takes real action to get it changed.

How many people click the button to allow MS to collect usage data? Thats where they must be getting the data. Ive never allowed MS to collect my usage data so they miss the fact i use my start button numerous times a day.
They already have recourse Block Google and stop allowing Indian web sites to be listed on Google stop Indian company's from advertising on Google and so on They do have recourse but they cant force there morality/religious on anyone but Indians. I build my-own, so i dont drive PC sales but i do drive OS sales. Ive always looked forward to the new Windows. And Ive always been apart of the beta testing no different this time. So what I'm saying is Windows 8 sucks, plain and simple. There is too much i dont like,like mainly the Metro feasico which MS was told about all through testing it was just not wanted.They didn't listen, marketing is more important then functionality and Customer,s wants.So i will take a pass at 8 and any new OS forcing Metro.
