Why not offer it up for a fee first? If the product is worth the money people will use it. Why should he expect the service for anything other then free? What products do they charge for? I was paying for google earth for the extras included but then they stopped that service and just continued with the free Google Earth. No Google is clearly untrustable at anything other then advertising and search.
Ida like to see all our weapons of war made at cost. And i dont mean they work for free or get free materials. No one should profit from wars of any kind. And bombs that are made to kill shouldn't bring profit to anyone.

How much anyone want to bet its really for catching criminals AND to save the scans of our faces for further intrusive advertising somewhere down the road. Lets boycott the makers of Jello. Do they scan our faces as we walk by also?
They got sued for this once before this isnt the first time they have abused the customers trust. Paid listing were placed on top of all the results with no warning that they were paid results thats why the paid ads are in colored blocks marked paid ads. I am sure we can say that Google has gone evil because they are doing the same things that got them into trouble in the first place. Their only true claim to fame was graphic free search results.
No they convinced people to choose their search engine because they were the only ones who did have graphical ads/flashing anything ads on the main search page and the results page. Not because it was the best at search. They also got into trouble once before by listing payed advertisement on the top of the whole search results "The reason for the colored ad blocks" So yes they are abusing their customer made monopoly by not listing the true top search.
I will agree we shouldn't be mixing hardened criminals/lifers with teen criminals or non violent crimes. These scum don't care about anyone but themselves thats why they end up in prison so i will not shed one single tear nor feel sorry.

I have another comment/question as well, Advertisers want end sales. So just loading up the ads means nothing if the ads don't produce. And those who say it costs money to run a web site well how much does it cost? Ive seen prices all over the board but most are under 20 bucks a month. What does it cost to run a site say like Slashdot? Which does run intrusive ads BTW. It seems to me running a website for free and depending on 100% advertising is a very stupid business decision. Make one mistake and piss off your membership and your out of business . And i do use an adblocker that i payed for not free ones.
What bothers me the most about this...stupid move. Is that they make you opt-out . That tells me hes getting money for the amount of people who stay in. Why else would he even care? its a free program to begin with. Nope hes gone to the darkside thats for sure.
I can swear this kinda business model was sued already. i just cant remember who it was Gator or some other adware/malware. They were injecting ads right over the websites ads just like in this article. As far as Ads go i block them, the main reason is that the ads interfere with my reading of the content with constant flashing and moving ads. And now we have to worry about criminals installing viruses/root kits/key loggers through ad servers.So don't blame me for blocking ads take control of your web site. If its popular enough I'm guessing the advertisers will serve the ads you want served
You have it wrong blocking content would cost millions and then open themselves to lawsuits from India because they didn't block enough. But ya it all comes down to money and not breaking any US laws while doing so.

The loss of one life is unacceptable. Making weed legal will add to the death rate not lower it. And just how are you going to insure no one will drive while high? Its against the law to drink and drive but people still do it and the same would happen if weed was legalized.

Why would the FBI use commercial software like this? Don't they have computer scientist and software programmers them-selfs?
