    As stated earlier, interns are cheap. And interns have a multifunction interface which allows them to perform more than one task. Many tasks which require interacting with people are best solved by other people. I guarantee the cost of an intern is cheaper than government procurement procedures for software purchases.

    Only for vertical files. For flat files, you need a cabinet about 180 degrees to the horizontal.

    Why are you considering only 100m copper wiring? Your self-imposed limits also show a lack of understanding about laying down co-op owned infrastructure meant to last decades. Fiber does not have those distance limitations; and some creative equipment decisions emphasizing residential service over bandwidth/throughput/business-use could keep the fiber equipment costs down.

    And the US Interstate highway system "avoids" any security problems by officially assigning the problem to the states. Yet, on the US highways people feel mostly secure. On the other extreme, highways in Iraq tend to be not so secure -- much like the Internet.

    Expecting a new Internet built secure by design attempts to transfer the security aspect from the social arena to the technical arena. Although some "door, ignition, and tire locks" can be designed as basic security of the new Internet components, security is always relative the what society defines as effectively secure.

    wmtransfer.com domain is registered by SMP Bank, Moscow. From Moody's bank rating service,

    With a trilogy. The last two books add depth and detail to the initial book which was mostly inane and lacking in depth. The new details of course reinterpret all the facts, plot, and characters of the first book till the first book is almost unrecognizable.

    The opening up part is probably the most difficult. Enclosures used to be held together with removable screws. Now they use embedded locking snaps. Breaking a snap will cost you an entire housing or faceplate instead of a few cents for a screw.

    Not many. The largest percentage of people are followers/consumers; not creators or leaders. Microsoft, and other similar companies, provide a product which most people want: a tool which requires no thinking or effort on the part of the user.

    To use a car analogy -- when was the last time your created and attached a custom part to your automobile engine?

    As much as I am impressed by EditGrid's honesty and apparently new focus, how long do you expect them to survive? I have been searching for this kind of functionality on and off for a while, and this is the first I have heard of EditGrid.

    If some LA movie town reporter thinks a NASA edutainment channel should exist, he can reach out to his LA contacts for financing and operations and create such a channel. And, don't forget to pay royalties to NASA for the footage -- just like the actors who receive residuals.
