I don't know about (technical) support, but I'm running Debian 3.0 on a T22 just fine. (No infrared, but that's probably just a matter of compiling the kernel) Oh, and it came with windows. Which I use a little anyway.
It sounds like LindowsCD ( http://www.lindows.com/lindowscd_info.php ) or Knoppix ( http://www.knoppix.org/ ) to me.
What _IS_ this? The advertising article?
Which almost certaintly isn't FDL :)
Or maybe they mean common kernel configuration and versioning? This way modules compiled for one could work for the other.
