    Chilling. No joke.

This reminds me of my real-world equivilant experience. I intentionally spread a rumor (true) a couple years ago when I started college about the way a professor treated (and looked at) his female students--sometimes in probably unneccesarily colorful or even inflammatory language. I was pissed!

Amazing to think that that the exact same discussion online could threaten the entire site. Amazing to think this might even chill that _physical_ speech. I like to think that even I wouldn't be threatened since I believe I should have the right to say those things about my mistreatment. I also would like to think that some poor third party--the phone company, the restaraunt, the bookstore--wouldn't be shut down for my speech, even if untrue. Sad.

Tetris is a "chick game." Wow. Haven't heard that in a while.

So women like Tetris and women like DDR, so playing them together must be romantic, right! I love DDR (not so much Tetris) but it is one of the least romantic activities I can think of. You think your IM conversations are misinterpreted--that's better than your missing the hold steps having *no* interpretation.

I would hate to see you guys drop to the level of chick games, though if you did I would school you. Gaming could be a couples activity, I guess, though in this context it is unromantic, meaningless, and shows nothing about the way you feel about her. Get a clue or she will be playing DDR with the hot guy at the next dorm!!!

Well, I'm not a fan of blood n' gutz, but I am a big DDR fan (obviously), but I would not support Microsoft enough to buy an XBox. Otherwise DDR might be an ok choice for a co-ed gaming experience, but could get old and isn't ideal if either of you is out of shape.

_Wait a sec_ This is your **girlfriend**!? You must be the least romantic sack of slop on this board! You want to connect in some deep romantic with your girlfriend using DDR!!! I'm an expert and DDR connections are not what will keep her around. She doesn't want you to waste time with her to show love--she want you to communicate with her!!! Send her some flowers and apologize for not talking on the phone, idiot.

Maybe you could patent selling by "internet." You know, patent selling with a "third party" being used to "transmit data." How about a third party payment system, like a "creditor." That sounds pretty close. The Revolution will not be televised.

maybe i just hang out with the wrong american geeks. This gave me a mistaken perception of eqality and respect for women as human beings, maybe even intellectual ones. Its been a while since I've read this women = maids type thinking, but i guess it shows that the US is after all just like Saudi Arabia.

I'm a serious Bittorrent abuser. I just started grad school and have yet to hear anything about my usage, however my undergrad school would "accidentally" block IP addresses with too much usage and you had to ask to get them turned back on which took about a week. I am not sure why my current school doesn't seem to care. Surely someone can tell--or maybe you're right. Maybe they can't look.
