It's very interesting that this is now another book on interactive storytelling. I tough nut to crack, but it will happen. We've got a site up, the story is just unfolding, some online and the rest, developed in group sessions, as it is a musical, and we are just now setting up the blog, needed, to fuel it along it's way. The future of it all, it's out there... somewhere.
and I believe it was R. (Bucky) Buckminster Fuller who said something to the effect that, "it's all carbon 12 in the end, give or take a few million years." Or was it 14?
It seems to me that everyone has been operating with forged documents all year long; from the war to this, everyone, including Dan and George, relying on unreliable evidence. Too much.
I must commend all/.'rs, as this has been one of the most interstesting of discussions concerning a great problem. Might I throw this into the ring, that we could well figure out the energy problem right here on this site. But could a piece of the answer lie in the fact that we are really moving out of this so called energy dependent industrial age and moving deeper into the next revolution; this technological phase of human history; one that will ultimately rely less on the physically "getting around" and more on "technilogically getting around," and yes to all who say that, atomic energy looks good in the long term for producing electricity.
Hey, I got the "share cropper" ID from a rant of Courney Love's from way back; June 14, 2000. I believe it was originally in Slate, and despite her predicaments at the present moment, the speech is quite eloquent and worth the read for anybody who wants a perspective on this from the bad old "Napster Days."
Yes, the labels are marketers for the biggest acts, and pay-ola still exists at the radio level, but the bands, whether it was The Beatles or, eh hem, Britney Spears, have always had to "hit the road" to build the audience. It will be intersting to see what comes out of it all. Linkin Park has a huge following and besides touring, they have used their web site as an incredible marketing tool, and many new acts are finding their way to the fans through the Internet. If video killed the radio star, then perhaps the web can kill the both...
After they take everyone to the cleaners, they want to set up a toll booth so they can get every last penny; like I'm not gonna bend over and pull down my pants for the cyber strip search. Really a bunch of sick bastards
Britney, no matter what you think, will suprise them all and having someone at that Assc. make predictions is no better than a prediction from a 5 dollar card reader, and what a shitty site..., oh, I have a prediction, it crashes any second, 1,2,3...
How 'bout this as a workaround?
Normally in need of a cause, where are the stars when you need them?
Yes, hours upon hours of fun... and keeping idle hands from doing the devils work... for a while.

But, don't you think the 30 second rebuttals only amounted to sound bites? Even 60 seconds would have been more appropriate.
Correct. It was not a real debate. Check out the Top 10 things they don't want you to know about the debates.
I guess I should have phased that with a question mark.
So I'm gonna shoot all my Blockbusters in Black and White for an even faster download.
but you can browse by genre, left side pull down menu, then go for it...
That's English for, "when the music's over, turn out the lights."
All these music stores should sell those nuclear batteries, that would be a big +
No one has done /. better, and no one has done iTunes better, and didn't someone say, "Bring 'em on." Nah...

Not hours, not days, but years before I have to replace the battery on my power book. Yes!
I know it doesn't matter, but don't forget, the ? goes inside the "quotation marks." :)

you took the words right out of my mouth; one wouldn't have to sneak up and put the phone under skirts (like the old days), just point and shoot.
if it can what it says, there will be many other uses for this little camera; no doubt coming soon to a cellphone, I'm sure...
