Yeah, I'm thinking it is quite a bit higher than that. I rarely encounter free wifi in my room when I travel, although most hotels still have it for free in the lobby, so if you're lucky you can connect to the lobby wifi. I need to get around to configuring my phone to work as a hotspot, which brings me to another ridiculous fee, the fee to use my phone as a hotspot. If you're charging me for data accessed through my phone, I shouldn't have to pay extra because the data ends up being passed along by my phone.
I have tried a lot of voice operated software, but have never had any luck getting it to work. Has anybody else had better luck with voice activated software? What do you think the chances of this actually working for most people are? Until Ive seen a product that works well I unfortunately have to remain skeptical.
Slapping them on the wrist? How much is a mere 1/2 Billion going to set someone like Mr. Gates back? I would see the fine as more of a warning than a real punishment.
I think part of the problem with a lot of the corporations/departments having many security flaws, or systems open to the net that shouldnt be is the fact that many people still see the internet as an idealistic place for the exchange of ideas and commerce. People are still slow to realize the danger that lies in the internet, and the fact that it can be dangerous. If people knew more about the dangers of technology they might be more apt to work on protecting themselves.
Should paper also be taxed? With my next paper purchase I might plan to make a copy of a page of a text book that *gasp* I dont own!! I think we should start taxing paper as well, because it could be used for copyright infringement.
I was going to respond to this with my actual price per page that I read on the textbooks I buy, but the program I wrote gets a "division by 0" error....
Alright, who is getting crucified over this one?

Thats all I have to say.
