  1. Evolution of tranportation on Government Report Examines Alternative Energy Research · · Score: 1

The evolution of transportation. Transportation seem to be in the very early stages of evolution. Dinosoars had many of the same problems . The increase of vehicle size that is needed to protect the passengers and its inability to operate safely in adverse weather conditions are just a few of the problems. These problems waste huge amounts of energy. I hope we can solve these problems before it is too late. It may help the transportation departments to take a closer look into how biological systems transport waste and blood. Puting things on rails to reduce stearing, using a computer system to replace the driver, These things are really simple fixes to this huge transportation problem. Just think of the savings,no more insurance,no more accidents,no more dui's,no more licences,no more energy wars,it would reduce the weight of vehicles by 70% Eventually combine the existing sewer, electric, water systems into the rail conduit would produce even more savings.

well, I am not very happy with the TV science programs. I did enjoy pbs absolute zero (now online at pbs .org or maybe .com) I think they did a very good job explaining the history of the chase and the personality traits of the scientists. They showed that not all scientists are driven by ego and greed. I Personally think, if everyone was a scientist society would quickly fail. The same could be said about politics and religion. But if you randomly mix the three it seems to work, or i should say survive. Only a small percentage of people are interested in science, and it wouldnt hurt to stop dumbing down the shows, it may help.

I personally believe they will find a few of the particles that Lisi predicts. I think Lisi has a different view than Cern. Lisi does not need the god particle. All Lisi needs is a better understanding of string Theory. Lisi needs to find a way to break symetry for his theory to blossom. Lisi has not noticed that the geometry of his force carrying particles form a double helix. But only those that study strings can see the importance of the double helix in his E8 discription. I allready know what the answer is. Im just waiting for them to confirm it.

Human error needs to be removed from the transportation system. Things like accidents, traffic fines, vehicle weight, road construction, traffic jams, and lost time must be looked at as part of the equasion. The whole transportation system needs to be repaced with a system that will solve these problems.Nowhere in nature will you find a more ignorant system to move matter. Our electric grid and our transportation system needs to be combined togeather into a public rail system.Putting computerized personal ultra lightweight cars on a track will remove all these problems. It would reduce the worlds energy needs by 40%.The cars would be able to travel from point a to point b in any weather conditions at incredibly faster speeds than our present system. You would never again have to turn or brake this car .It is so simple that once you remove human error from the system time and energy will be saved.
