Well put. I think the internet is connecting people in such a way that its bringing down these barriers that we threw up in the old days to protect our property but now its be shared by everyone when you put in on the net, I dont mind it. I hope we can somehow come to terms with this, i guess.
Sorry to go off topic, but this is a great opportunity to get some opinions from people who know how sites should be designed. Speaking of Ideas on how to build a great web site I am running a consulting service using a local provider to host my web site, but im not doing anything special. I want to add some more active content to it, can any of you guys suggest anything ? www.cubedd.com
I have to say the after TNG (after gene rodenberry died) star trek's plots got really bad after rick burman took over. he should of left the writing to the writers.
Well as Richard said, i think whats more important is better code, not more money. I know they have to make a living and their a great company, Im sure they do fine if they decieded to open up. they have alot of other products their working on. I just dont think companies need to base every decision on the money factor. I would hope the ultimate goal would be to better our society thu the use of computers running great software.
One thing that really bothers me is people like you who thing they have all the answers, please dont commit to a decision untill you have sought out all the facts on a particular subject.
Umm hello ? we allready pay a sales tax weather is on the net or in the physical world. THE STATES STILL GET THEIR TAXES. nobody is getting this point.
As far as I can tell, a sales tax allready exists on items purchased on the internet. I purchased A computer game off the net and I did pay a state sales tax here in califorina.
Thanx for the Info, I think it was wired news that said somthing about watermarking cd's now that you mentioned it, Ill have to check and see if i can find that article again.
Isnt the SMDI initative to start producing copy protected Compact Disks soon ? All I know is that has to go, I have a right to make a backup for personal use of my own collection.
I dont think the goverment is thinking about taxing emails, i have heard alot of people saying that they will. but i dont remember reading anything from the gov that said they were thinking about it, accept the UN and that got shot down quick.
IT isnt frikken neccessary you need to learn what the internet is really about, Free Information that pretty much includes everything that happens on the net, the masses are just trying to turn into somthing that its not.
Listen I agree with you on this so why suggest that its going to pass. Dont believe the hype. IF we all get involved and call our congressmen in support of a tax free internet it wont happen.
It will be interesting to see if the gov. does try and tax the net, their are alot of people against it Including my self, the comment at the end of the article suggest that it is Inevitable, Thats not the attuide I would suggest to the public. Because If enough people would get off their asses and actually get involved, things would be diffrent.

the problem is 90% of schools dont provide information on both sides, they teach evolution as fact.
Its all about creationism anyway, cant believe people still believe that evolution should be taught as truth.
