After the concert he had to go the hospital and get all kinds of shots for rabies and other kinds of diseases you would get from biting the head off of a bat. He did, however, bite the head off of some kind of live bird, but for fear of being wrong I'll leave out the type of bird it was. He did that during a meeting with executives of a record company. He was banned from that building.

However, on the 95 vs 98 thing, I have noticed that if I leave my machine on overnight running 98 then it tends to have died by morning.

I haven't noticed that... You know, I installed windows 98 clean on my new computer, and had absoultely no problems (except for the occassional automatic reboot because my processor was overheating, but that's my fault). But then one time from linux I had both dos partitions mounted, and accidentally "rm -rf"'d them. I managed to stop it as soon as I pressed enter, but lost a bunch of system files. Man it ran fucked up after that. But after re-install of internet explorer 5, and some via agp patch (i don't even have an agp motherboard...) everything's back to normal. I no longer see what's so bad about windows 9x, I mean, I'm not using it as a server, or anything besides checking email and graphically altering pictures of me to make myself look all buff, and it's been running fairly good.

Your plan is a little short sighted. You see, I stocked up on guns and ammo, but I also have an underground bunker. I figure I can take the first 30 or so intruders with the blasts from my shotgun, but after the mob climbs over the pile of dead corpses I'll be forced to change out of my army fatigues and into my civilian clothes, and then shout "lets take his food" in an attempt to blend in with the mob. I'll quickly pull one of the corpses over and dress him/her up in the army fatigues, and then claim that he was the shooter. I'll become a hero among the mob, and will assume the position as absolute leader. I'll direct my group to the local armory to overrun the government task forces and take control of their guns and tanks. With my newly armed troops, I will then take control of the region, and later the world.

  18. Re:Your friendly pharmacist on FDA to Regulate Internet Drug Sales · · Score: 1

The real point I was trying to make is that you shouldn't be allowed to get something so easily as long as there are people that won't listen, or ask about what drug there is. Sure, it doesn't apply to everything, but it does apply to pharmacuetical drugs. Just because the government regulates one type of internet transaction doesn't mean they can or will regulate every type. Although I think personally a little bit of anti-government paranoia is good in any situation, even though I disagree with the original poster.

  19. Re:We need less government, not more on FDA to Regulate Internet Drug Sales · · Score: 1

It's a good idea to regulate sales of drugs. Pharmacists know a hell of alot more than the average joe about what you should and should not take. Having FCC approval of internet vendors of drugs is not a breach of "individual responsibility", not everybody has the time to research every single drug they take, whereas a pharmacist has and does. Tell your evangelization shit to the family of the man who died because he bought viagra over the internet, took it and died because you're not suppose to take it with a heart condition. Sure, it's his responsibility to know that, but not everybody is as smart as you say you are.

Every time I walked into the room with the webserver at work it would mysteriously go down. When I'm at work, the sysadmin has to drink an extra cup of coffee to keep with all the problems I cause. Bottom line, making me the scapegoat will solve any and all liability problems.
