    Us Windows users have been paying $99 for point releases for years just to make sure that when our original OS gets dropped we still get security patches.

    It would be hilarious if someone who travelled the entire country doing their job had every state that has an income tax trying to tax 100% of their income. Imagine 20+ states taxing 5% of your income with the feds wanting 25% of their own. Owing 135% of my income would be enough to make me stop working.

    Um no, that would be supremely stupid. Sony could probably have all of it's products banned from import into the US for doing something as dumb as ignoring a court order. Not to mention the potentially massive fines on top of the original reward which they'd probably have to pay regardless off the final outcome in court and to get their products back into the US.

    Projectile motion tells me that to fire a projectile in a near straight line over any meaningful distance, the velocity must be very high. What kind of projectile do you think can travel at the speed of a bullet and NOT be lethal? If a gun is manufactured for the purpose of protection or hunting and it's used in a crime, how is that any different than a knife being used in a crime or someone running their husband over in their car?

    If a program is crashing due to a buffer overflow and someone can get data into the buffer, it may be exploitable. If certain data crashes Mozilla or OpenOffice.org, specially crafted data could exploit the crash bug to inject executable code unless the crash is due to a NULL pointer.

    IE wasn't much better till they integrated it into Win98 and were gearing up to stick it into the WinNT line and HAD to stabilize it.

    I don't understand how people sit them on their privates to begin with. I find it hard to type on a notebook while sitting up when the notebook is too close to my body. The back is almost on my kneecaps and the front doesn't come close to my privates. Maybe it's just because I have long legs...
