    Except GIMP. GIMP is by far the easiest tool to use in its genre of software. It is amazing how many people left Photoshop in droves with this last release that gave us the advanced technology of the single window interface.

    While the fact is wrong, the attribution wasn't... Hovertank, Wolfenstein 3d, and DOOM were all John Carmack/John Romero games. It isn't like they are giving the wrong person credit.

    I find it funny that you get marked insightful when recommending this, but there was a decade where people cried foul when Microsoft did it with IE.

    It doesn't work that way. They put your transaction through a "hold" before posting it, and you can not put a hold on a prepaid card.

    Hardly. We all know what happens when we approach C. The universe around us will be burning away. And you still have buttloads of light years to find an "usable" planet (regardless the lifeform).

    Keep in mind the old argument that galactic colonization is an exponential process, as each colony sends out a ship, the expansion rate grows. Even with each colony sending out ships at a fairly low constant rate, say every 500 years, it only takes a few million years to colonize the whole galaxy. Yet this clearly has not happened...

    As fun as it is to fantasize about getting around it, it may be entirely possible that interstellar space travel is limited by the "speed of light". Perhaps no matter how much you can do, you can't beat that constant

    Yea, this PHP bashing here gets really old. Sure, the fact that it's a high level language attracts some clueless programmers that write bad code, but that's not the languages fault.

    PHP5 was released in 2004. I was using VB/ASP (I'm assuming VB6/ASP classic?) in 1998. There is perspective you are deliberately leaving out.

    Try even a low end AMD APU platform. I got a board, "APU", 4GB of ram, for $120 at tigerdirect. I can play Portal 2 at fantastic settings with smooth play, and just about every other game I throw at it
