um, well I just spent about 700$ to get some of my relatives who are destitute, equipment for them to use to get on the net to be productive. So yes it can happen. I also use a prepaid phone for myself that only costs 45$ a month and i get unlimited everything and tether. It can happen they got broadband but no internet at home. ATT has been raping people where I use to live in the woods with those caps.

thats the deterministic view of your universe. I think its a crock, there is nothing special about us or life. We are not the center of the universe and we are not the only outcome of it. It was just dumb luck we survived and thrived on this planet, and it don't mean squat. The only meaning is what is in your own head period. as far as flesh being the only sentient life forms, I highly doubt in all the galaxies, and all the suns ours is the only with a little ball where it has occured. It may very well be silicon based and not carbon based if it exsists. From a math stand point it seems unlikley there would be no life at all but us. Whether sentient we can't know yet.

well from my own person experience from 2002-14 yrs ago. What screwed me up was when they did the alternate track for math and i was put with the 'slow' kids. i ended up just going to geometry in highschool. I had to hurry up and learn stuff on my own the last year so i could get the basics to get into college. That sucked and was an hiderence to me even trying to do something more advanced then networking and computer repair. I have to say the teachers are what make a difference in these areas not the students. If the teachers are bad then the students are worse. If the teachers are helpful and give a damn then the students will at least try to learn. As with all things there is so much gray its hard to see what is black and white.
