my anecdotal evidence is this is changing, at least in the few underage girls i have hung around, only two so small sample. they do seem to like technology more then the girls i knew from my era. they both love cellphones and the one wants a tablet for birthday. they are both doing good in school so, maybe this sterotype will die with the 50's? please god let it die!
and they wonder why they cant find anybody to place in positions. between this and the ads to 10 years exp in such and such and if you 9 you are out BS.
isn't this why we have think tanks though? people who think up the worst possible scenario? then they find a way to fix it? you could even make it like a Reddit for professionals, who can post ideas and up vote them? en-mass idea generator... ?
then i would suspect we owned by any and all hackers in the world. so once they take it all down and kill millions of people, since they dont got generators to protect the power grid, . will they learn from this lesson? will the Gov. peeps haul their ass up to congress and make em fix it or will they get a slap on the wrist like the finance peeps?
so.. please tell me you don't put this on the net do ya? You make sure there is physical security around those systems too? this seems likes ripe pick-ens for any hacker foreign or domestic?
Anonymous needs to get this list and publish is on pastebin for all the world to see. I am tired of these money bags getting away with everthing they do! Everyttime somebody is arrested their name is plaster on the 6 o colock news, why should they be any freaking different? the post claims they cant get ajob if theyare sumoned? seriously if spend a night in jail for being intoxicated, i would loose my freaking job if they ever found out. indeed, no expert here either, but i know enough to be dangerous. this is a complete lack of understanding of even the basics of what is going on in their networks, or how to identify who is a good engineer or a bad one.
I think the real game changer is going to be electric bikes, I have seen people with lawn mower engines on their bikes running around and mopeds too. Most people can not afford 30K cars, the ones who needs transport can barley afford the bus fares. Toyota needs to go back to the drawing board and reduce the price of their cars. 10k would be too much. We just can't afford it anymore.
hey now, i been riding my bike and using the bus for about a year now. The only time i have wanted to go anywhere out of my area, is to go see the friends up north, then i use the roomies truck. I have saved hundreds of dollars, and survived, it wasn't easy or with out a bit of sweat. My average on the bike is like 10 miles before I need a good rest, its enough to get back and forth to work.

Hmmm. sounds likes the populous is lazy and not doing what they are suppose to do? Influencing the government to get what is needed. Now i realize that there is the disconnect between US, and the GOV. That MUST be taken care OF. I don't care if we got to bang on the door of the senate to get them to listen and stop taking orders from the Corps.
another crop that we can harvest and create food and energy out of. I watched a ted talk a few nights ago that was just amazing the amount of energy these little buggers can hold.
I concur! Housing needs a reboot, its the most wasteful buildings on the planet. They need to be smarter, cooler, and most of all closer to cities, with mass transit. the next thing they need to do with agriculture is limit the stupid pesticides that are killing the bees, and they might want to make new ones since the other animals are growing immune.

its time to buy the hardcore processing power pcs now! the prices are going to go up. I am going to do everything i can to buy two more desktops and a laptop this christmas. On top of a new car..
what if they are thinking they can get away with it since they sit in congress and have all these 'powers and prestige' ? is that not what most of them say when they get caught. oh i cant believe i got caught i thought i was so clever.. ??
all i got to say is what happens when you guys are tired of that position and they cant find anybody else qualified? what happens to the company when your whole team retires? lol, they need to invest in training. Period. You cant learn these things in the dekstop world or by using linux usually. the EMC, VMWARE, XEN, HP CIsco stuff is all properity, they dont share it with the community. so how are we suppose to learn this stuff? I went and got a degree and have been working on my own nodes and network for years, I am still no where near what the people want on my resume. I dont have access to the hardware to learn. What ami suppose to do?
