I wish the RIAA and MPAA arguments could be wrapped up siply. Something like 'We need to charge more because it now costs us more to produce our quality (dubious) product...' (even though it doesn't but you get the point) would be a nice change and also a starting point for intelligent debate. Instead all they ever seem to say is 'we want more money' becase, well, 'we want more money'. I can understand that argument, I too 'want more money'. But until the RIAA or MPAA produces something to warrant that, the price should remain the same. I wish more artists would speak out about how they feel about this whole debacle. While the music and movie companies are shelling out millions to produce this stuff it's the Musician's, Directors, Writers and, I guess, Actors that should be controlling the direction of their respective industires (not sure if that made any sense). Music and Movies have always been about entertainment but it almost feels like they are trying to take even that most intrinsic part away...'Buy it because it is there and because we say so at the price we want'. Maybe they should adopt a model similar to how public companies are traded. You can only charge as much as the market will bear. There will be low prices and high based on how much people like the 'product'. Things should reach a 'natural' equilibrium. It's got a lot of flaws but at least then we wouldn't have to hear about how greedy these damn industries have become. The consumer would tell these industries how greedy they can be.
Well, that was a pretty eclecktic set of rants. I just find it really frustrating and disappointing to see what our society has become and is heading toward. Neither side seems to want to present a good solution that would be amicalbe and acceptable to consumers, who are by the way, the people that buy most of their crap.
There is a big difference between beating something and outselling something. The average UNIX (HPUX) system where I work costs about $50k...the average Wind'oh's system about $5k. You wouldn't catch me or anyone else I work with putting a mission critical app on one of our Windows machines...ever.
This mouse seems to have almost all the bells and whistles except for a rechargeable battery. That would the the first thing I would look for in mouse such as this one. Also, why go through the trouble of developing a proprietary wireless system when bluetooth is out there and becoming more and more ubiquitous.
Right....the reason people pirate software is because hardware is too expensive. I have seen full systems go for the same price as M$ Office. That is some leap of logic Mr. Steve.
What is the point of adding/enabling Bluetooth on a phone if you can use it for syncing contact, calendars, etc? One of my friends just got this phone and was having a hell of a time trying to get it to sync. Now we know why.
I wish logitech would come out with a Bluetooth version of this thing. I have the M$ bluetooth mouse that I use with my PowerBook. It works great except for the fact that I have to put new batteries in it every month or so.

Sounds like they did something wrong...

RIAA Says P2P Encourages Illegal Downloads... kinda in the same way that actually producing the music encourages people to share it...

Does this mean we will get an OSX that runs on AMD's? That would be awsome...
I think the $10 price of a ticket is starting to dim the "Magic" of movies more than bootlegs...

I thoght the process of extracting hygrogen from water was called electrophoresis. I am probably wrong as I am not a chemsit. Can anyone elucidate?

Hmmm...didn't realize that...thanks for the info...

I didn't know there was any incentive to do anything in the Windoh's world..
I remember seeing something like this 10+ years ago on a show called Beyond 2000 that aired on the Discovery channel.
