This is a tragedy and the first step in the decommission process. NASA is terribly underfunded already (Hey..all those guys NEED $289 toilet seats...) and this will be just one more excuse to cut back more. The Hubble is the best project NASA has right now and for the forseeable future (get it...?):)
Nobody will buy this if they charge for it. There are competing solutions already out which are better than BootCamp (like Parallels), They've already promised this will be part of Leopard and the Boot Camp page still says so:
http://www.apple.com/macosx/bootcamp/
The quote in the right column says "Get a sneak peak at the other new features in Leopard on the Mac OS X Leopard site." That implies this is stil a feature of Leopard and will not be sold separately. MacScoop should stop smoking MacCrack.
Please don't sue me, Warner... I prrrrrrrrrrromise I won't do it anymore!
Good for the goose, good for the gander. Why doesn't the Attorney General seize this opportunity????:)
Wikipedia, for most part, is garbage. How can you have, in concept, an authoritative work that can be edited by any moron on the planet? Citizendium at least seems to be a step in the right direction, but it has a long way to go.
Thisis nothing new at all. I guess they considered me a "power user" or whatever because they slowed shipments and had more and more "lost" DVDs. What's the deal? If I watch a movie each day, that's 30 movies per month. For the film buffs, why is that so crazy or considered "heavy usage"?
Actually it's only halfway. Konfab sit's on your desktop and Dashboard works like Expose (which is BS as far as I'm concerned). Dashboard is slow and nowhere near the amount and quality of widgets out there, which might change....
New icons in Longhorn will more match those in OS X too.
It's only a matter of time before somebody creates a reliable emulator so OS X will run on PCs.

Game. Set. Match.
"...better is worse if it's different." Isn't "better" always different?

It's a misspelling [sic]... they meant a "thrillin' "...Because the RIAA needs 'em wherever they can get 'em...

If they wanted users to rent more DVDs, they should stop throttling them first...

Now some 12-year old will come up with a great systems and NetFlix will rape them for theor code and call it a day...
