You know, I have to agree with this. If anyone here is more fluent in the Bible than I am, please quote some passages which I hope suggest what Im saying. In the begin of the end-times I'm pretty sure It speaks of basically censorship and being controlled, i.e we will all wear the mark of the beast, does this not seem like the type of thing that will inevitably lead to what the Bible speaks of? Is that not was the OSS community is basically trying to fight against?.. I think we are seeing the beginnings right here, be-it small amounts. I for one am against this type of thing, but I can also see where they want to protect what they own.. But this is going to lead to something bad.

PS: Sorry if I offended anyone, but I'm entitled to an opinion, please respond. :)

Part of me does not like the evil microsoft corporation. Then again another part of me thinks... It's their windows, its their media player, if other companies dont like that they include it in their OWN product, well screw them let them develop their own OS, gain market share off of that then bundle in whatever they want to. To me it just doesn't make sense that microsoft cannot/(should not?) be able to include, well, whatever the heck they want to include in their own products. I understand that its all antitrust bs and total market obliteration.... but screw it, people DONT have to get windows, they can get something else. bleh. -- No spellchecker on /., and I dont hcekc pleslnig

I was driving a while back, I have a little area above the mirror to set stuff in, I put my sunglasses up there and noticed that with the convex shape of the glasses, I was able to see all around the back of the car, now granted that distances were obscured b/c of the odd shape, but what about a convex rear-view mirror, which would allow for greater visibility? Simple solution, no fancy electronics.
