Im not too knowledalbe on bentchmarks and such, but I do know about processors. One thing that I know about them is that the Xeon is not in the Pentium family. So why do they call it the
Yea, yea, yea, we all got that it's the G5. The only problem, even though it migh have a high FSB it would be a waste of resource to use a PC/MAC prossor in a consoles. The ability to multi task isn't very highly used in a console. The most that will ever be used is, Video/Audio, and that would be in a cut skit.
Although, if you use a mulit-tasking prossor, you could make every thing seam to be its own little task. For example, looking at game play. If you make Graphics one "program" and do the same with audio, controls, HDD, DVD Drive..... That would make that console supirior to any other out on the market. Well, theoreticly. There is no way of knowing how long it would take, to set a game like that up. Or it it would/wouldn't need to have things installed to a HDD to run. Then if you have that you would need RAM, and it would be no differnt then a PC or MAC.

Well no, it has another PC part. The graphics interface. Its from nVidia. I know that from the screen savers. I heard them talking about it. But still that's not a very expensive part either way. I still don't know how big the HDD is on the XX, so I couldn't tell you if its cheep or not.
From what I know, firewalls keep people out. Making them illegal is like making dead bolts illegal. That would be one of the stupidest things I have ever heard of. All though it is government work, so it I wouldn't put it past them.

In all reality its true. How you like it if Microsoft came in and started messing with stuff, or how about the government. They wouldn't like it very much if we just walked in their office and sterted playing with stuff. Like, the Governor, go in and start looking around on his computer and see what web sites he has been on. That should be funny and pretty entertaining.
Yes this is Microsoft, and have we forgotten about the little WinXP BS that happend? I will tell you that I'm not half as tech savy as any one else on this site, but even I've been shown the flaws in XP. If Microsoft even cared about a good prodoct any more, there wouldn't be any flaws in the final product in the first place.
