I would guess that's the case with the NDA. Correct me if I'm wrong, but if a 'trade secret' like CSS is broken without reverse engineering, thievery, etc, then it's no longer a 'trade secret'. This even close to right, Patent Lawyers?
Not only is temperature an issue, as suggested above, but one should also consider the sheer magnitude of this find. Even if the DNA is in pretty bad shape, they've probably got enough of it that it can somehow be replicated as whole chromosomes. Not that I'm aware of such a process. Not that I'm a biologist...
Bah. Whatever

Legislative instinct is what I call it. Everbody has the instinct to muck things up, I propose, but most people are happy with a clean system that works well. However, there are those out there who feel the intense desire to make things more and more convoluted. Evidence? Taxes: gold piece -> current day. I rest my case.
How many Mac freaks do you know who have ever fixed that damn "?" in a box during startup? They allways call an IBM freak over to rip open the case and jiggle a few cables and respond triumphantly, "Flakey Hardware."

I have to agree. I have yet to get a win9x box up and running within 20 minutes of sticking in a cd.

How does "implied powers" apply to this?
I DO hope that's sarcasm, Chang

I think it would be safe to assume this is the lower end of the spectrum of human intelligence, whatever that is...
Solution: Build your own in a full tower: the 4 foot tall towers are imposing, roomy, and not so much more expensive than the smaller ones.
Divx is evil... the scourge of all good.
OK... I can see emulators as not being illegal... but MAKING MONEY off of it doesn't seem A)ethical, B)likely to be legal.
