My choices for lunch are something to the effect of:
Pizza with White *OR* Chocolate Milk
Crap (iffy hamburger, cheese with bread, leaves, etc)
Most people seem to go for the pizza. It's provided by dominos, and is really pretty tasty. It isn't the best thing for students health-wise, and I think the Crap isn't much better. The school recently banned soda machines, but they sell water, flavored water, and snacks. The point is that parents can watch what we buy, but it's not going to make us any healthier.
And that stuff with the 4 oz and getting an extra 12? Is anyone REALLY satisfied with 4 oz of juice? I know I wouldn't be, but I drink from the water fountains anyway. It's amazing! Free drinks! But people still buy water from the machine that is 20 feet away from three different fountains.
I did this once, hacked into a network, and then told the admin. I did it cause i was waiting for something and i saw their wifi network, which was WEP encrypted, so i figured i'd give it a shot. I started collecting packets, and when i had been collecting for about 1 minute, i gave a certain attack a shot, just for kicks, and it worked in 10 seconds. This was the first WEP i ever cracked, and it was for a major electronics company, so I told the admin, and showed him what i did. nothing bad happened to me. they were appreciative about it, infact. I havnt checked, but I'd assume they would increase their security instead of doing something to harm me.
Apple includes IE and Safari, made by Microsoft and Apple. But suddenly it's SOOOO strange that MS would include firefox. Apple's not going to include every browser, and Safari is pretty similar to Firefox, but at least there's links to it on the DL page for apple.
There was a tech support guy who came to our french class one day, and started working on the comps in there. he then got up and told our teacher somethingto the effect of
"some of your smarter students have bypassed the firewall. this is bad because when they do, it makes the router lose its identity, and the network can no longer access the internet ouside of the school"
which of course is a completely bs answer. they are just supposed to have the computers mnitored. but the blocking system they use in the district (Los Angeles Uunified School District) is so idiotic that it blocks tons of legitemate content and lets you view porn. for example, i was blocked form the united states chess federation site while my friend was looking at tits on another computer in the computer lab. brilliant work LAUSD.
ehh.. doesnt sound that great, really

well, hmm. $400 for a yoyo is the most ive ever seen for a non-vintage yoyo. i think the next one was something like 150...
Anyway, I jsut looked in my bag of yoyos (i used to be a competitive yoyoer... now i do it occasionally for fun) and I see a duncan freehand that doesnt look like the picture and cost about 15 bucks. this is the first yoyo ive seen that was designed for freehand use, but not even close to the first one used for that. This one i have might just be an earlier version, seeing as how it's made of plastic and all, but i think it's wrong to claim this as the first yoyo that you dont need to attach to your hand.
Even older is the "off-string" style where the string is attached to your finger, but not to the yoyo. in this method, one throws the yoyo into the air, and catches it on the string, going on to perform one of several tricks. Either way, the most i ever paid for a yoyo was 45 bucks for an aluminum yoyo. excellent quality, but still...
still, I dont know anyone in who would throw something so expensive around on a string, while not attached to your hand, that could be permanantly broken if you drop it. With a normal yoyo, at least it's attached to the thrower's finger, but this... it would make me nervous.
oh, one more thing. about yomega, they make decent yoyos, and I learned on a yomega fireball, then a saberwing fireball (fireballs use a transaxle system, which is like a ring around the axel tied to the string, and the saber wing means it's a butterfly shape), but after learning, I have come to realize that there are much better yoyos availabe imho. I use a pro-yo "Stunt Pilot" for all my yoyoing these days. it's great to use, and it beats any yomega or duncan ive had the oppertunity to use.
