I'll be flamed for this, but mine definitely are :
1) tuxracer
2) frozen bubbles
These games are simple, takes only 20 seconds to comprehend, don't hog the pc at all and best of all run on linux. In fact most of my friends keep telling me these are dumb games from a bygone era, but their simplicity and ease simply outblow all those fps-shooter-in-5-DVDs packs. Out of curiosity, are there any other *nix users here, who play games like once a month, but really relish their 5 minute getway?

My 2 cents, I fully support this type of censorship. It is in the greater interest of the whole society, and being in India, I've heard a lot about communal violence being triggered by very silly reasons.
There are a lot of complications using a VM - there's no 3D, no good audio etc.. Plus if your base computer does not fit into the HAL, you can't expect much out of the VM. I am actually surprised at this - a VM will give you the benifit of portability, but if that was your goal you'd be better off giving a laptop to all your employees.
And that's the same in India too... Call rates are damn cheap, and all mobile companies provide their flagship models outside of the telco bundles. In fact if this is released here, I can see it becoming a success, especially since the mobile makes are at a war head with the telcos over 3G.

Now, who modded the parent funny? We're definitely eeeing strange streaks of humor here.
Now I have to dump my IRIX, right after I dumped SCO UX. This just isn't fair!
