I've used kde4 and it is a disaster, 4.1 is better but still not as good as 3.5. Gnome is good but why isn't he using something like fluxbox or some other light weight wm?
So how can we bridge those kinds of gaps?
By educating people. Unfortunately Linux users have the tendency to call people idiots unless you approach them with "xyz OS desktop/OS can do this but blahblah Linux distro can't" .
What exactly does this do (in bash)? All I can make out is the pipe, if it really is a pipe. On my uniprocessor system it caused the HDD light to start blinking continuously and it froze X. I couldn't even drop down into the console and had to hit the power switch to get my system back.
1) According to IRC 4942(j)(3) you can make donations to private organizations, e.g. pharmaceutical corporations (making HIV, TB, Malaria drugs) as long as the foundation makes equivalent donations to non-profits and other charities.
2) Re-invest in the regular corporations using your personal wealth and the foundation's money.
He's only 37, is Indian but converted from Hindu to catholic a while back, has run many businesses, was a Congressman and then won a special election to be Governor of Louisiana.
Bobby Jindhal doesn't give a fuck about Indians or Indian Americans. In fact he stays as far away from the Indian American community as he can. I'm an Indian American and I won't be supporting him or McCain.
I agree, at my unix admin job at my local private university we're still in the phase of getting things up to speed so there's lots of new work to be done. After all this is finished I'll have lots more free time to work on web based apps, learn new languages, and support scientific development. I definitely recommend an admin job, especially at a private university if you can land one.
yes that would be interesting, but you'd still need a dongle like the nuvision 60gx NSR box to get the signal out of the dvi/vga connectors because it doesn't have a 3 pin mini din connection.
It installs and plays fine under wine-0.9.60. I couldn't login because it said my account was still pending. My mom who is a crystallographer and builds proteins using more sophisticated versions of these programs played it for a few minutes and got really into it. The score is most probably based on a phi-psi torsion angle plot called a Ramachandran plot as well as other properties (e.g. hydrogen bonding, close contacts, hydrophobicity, etc). This is really ingenious.
Maybe RHAT/CENTOS will catch onto this and put it into production. This would probably work well since the actual kernel minor version never changes for the life of a RHEL/CENTOS version and I would guess kernel data structures don't change much either as long as the kernel is kept at the same minor version.
i built a fairly complex gui in labview but had to use the matlab code plugin to do the majority of the number crunching
Now all we need to do is shrink a STM so that it fits into a SATA HDD 2.5 or 3.5" form factor :)

It is bogus and here's the proof: http://tyan.com/newsroom_pressroom_detail.aspx?id=1289 I found that a few weeks ago when I was spec'ing out a system with a tyan mobo.

How much bandwidth was in this spectrum?
looks like thousands of supermicro systems.
Nice server room. They're still going to use distributed storage to put all their data at other universities and national labs.
"when our schools have all the money they need and the government has to hold a bake sale to buy a bomber"
Furthermore, it's a huge tax shelter since the B&MGF is a non-profit private foundation (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/501(c)#501.28c.29.283.29 and http://www.irs.ustreas.gov/irm/part7/ch11s06.html#d0e106703), and such enjoys freedom from federal and other taxes as long as the profits it earns from investments go back into the organization it self. This is how B&MGF add to their personal wealth (hint indirectly):
1) According to IRC 4942(j)(3) you can make donations to private organizations, e.g. pharmaceutical corporations (making HIV, TB, Malaria drugs) as long as the foundation makes equivalent donations to non-profits and other charities.

3) Profit!
he said private NAS, not enterprise NAS that starts at $100k.
the only crappy thing about it is that it doesn't have additional buses like eSATA.
drobo and add to it the drobo share

I wonder if you can use rivatuner in wine or if not then under windows then move the card to a linux box? Will the hardware mods remain?

is there a way to convert the solution files to pdb files?
figured it out just change "complete" to "1" in the .ir_puzzle files.
is there way to change the settings so that I can go to the last level in offline play? Is there a registry setting?
