    'Retina' resolution depends on 1) device size and 2) typical viewing distance.

    For a 3.5 inch or so screen viewed at arm's length and for average human eyes, it's pretty much is as close together as one can discriminate.

    Not everybody works for the CIA. I have my photographs and other data on 2 GB external drives. I rotate them weekly or biweekly, backing up new stuff and checking the older. Total storage now about 6 TB.

    That said, if you're doing 64 GB in a couple of hours, a little more practice with shot discipline will help you both in storage and in workflow time. That's too many pictures.

    Then the DELETE key is your friend. Especially if you're doing that many shots. They can't ALL win the Pulitzer Price.

    They're out in the middle of a pestilential swamp, miles from no where. That's why they picked Cape Canaveral (aside from it's location at the edge of the water). For all we know, the trucks were sitting back in a safe radius and they knew there was no specific hurry. What's going to happen? Some pissed off snakes?

    The video was very nostalgic. Reminded me of early NASA - things blew up all the time.

    Remember, that video is shot with a telephoto lens so things appear foreshortened. But yeah, it looks a bit .... close.

    Remember, this is a design patent case.

    It's not just rounded rectangles and a black bezel. It's rounded rectangles, a black bezel, this AND that AND other things.

    Note the the "AND" - it all has to add up to be significantly infringing. It doesn't have the same requirements as a utility patent. Moving an icon would not likely be unique enough to get you a utility patent, but it could well be PART of a design patent.

    Say $100K for the drives, another 50K for the 'Enterprise Level' software, another 100K for labor.

    My alcoholic neighbor can't even pay child support. How is he going to pay 'monthly payments to the paralyzed individuals'?

    Especially if he's in jail for 10 years.

    Currently, he's on two years of probation and has a GPS collar. If he hurts somebody, he might go back to jail, but you can forget any sort of compensation.
