  1. Re:yech on Does Your Company Pay For Broadband? · · Score: 1

Having worked with and for professional mechanics, the requirement for your own tools is listed in the job desription and in just about all shops where this is required the mechanic ths mechanics get 65-75% cut of the profit. Meaning if the shop makes 200 bucks for a repair the mechanic gets 130-150 bucks. I don't see this happening in most IT shoppes.

I have to agree with you about the lack of proper attention to legal requirements. As much as OSHA gets in the way of getting a job down smoothly than can be a real big friend in keeping your pay and workload balanced. If you have not checked out hte OSHA guidelines I recomnmend doing so.

But seriously You may have an idea here. What is need is a Slashdot lite for the tech. impaired(average user). Maybe you should start a thread on this. Of course the real challenge is goin to be getting the information ou t where the average person can read it. Like links from Netscape and Microsoft(not likly) or Yahoo directly.

    The Truth is somewhere.

And yes i advocate FULL DISCLOSURE POLICES

As for how he got caught, He got cocky. The slow trial plenty of blame to spread; from wiaveing the right to a speed trial, to gov. snafu.

Did you know most ppl outside of us techies don't even remeber him. Think on that one for abit.
