In related news, AppleInsider posts that Virtual PC 7.0 is delayed until October. According to the "inside-info" (which is to be taken with a grain of salt), the delay is due to the push back of Windows XP SP2 into August.
Yes I agree it's kind of odd for an "up-to-date" program. For the OS, you can usually qualify for the up-to-date if you purchased a version before the new one was released. But essentially with this, you are only qualified if you buy the old version afterwards.
Hopefully this isn't a sign of "up-to-date" programs to come, especially with Tiger on the horizon.
For those of you who have or will purchase version 1.2 (version 2.0 won't ship till July) - you can get the new version for $19.95 by using these forms.
Sounds like you should be angry at the various marketing departments who think we'll want these gadgets, not GSM. If I understand it correctly, GSM allows for greater flexibility (data and voice simultaneously), but should be transparent to the user.
I wish I had a phone with an expresso machine though. Then I wouldn't have to wait in line with all those "yuppie fucks" and their triple wide baby strollers at Starbucks!
Disabling HTML mail is not an option for some people, so a compromise would be something like what Mac's Mail offers, which allows you to disable images in HTML messages. But, the nice part is that each message has a "Load Images" button - allowing you to load images on an individual basis, after you've glanced at the text and determined it isn't hostile mail.
