this has been discussed at great length over the past couple of weeks on most of the big yoyo forums. The unambiguous conclusion is that he is a fraud. The tricks he can be seen to perform are beginner and intermediate level, not even slightly impressive to anyone in the yoyoing community.
but most of the cyclists (triathletes, mostly) I know ALSO shave their arms. I myself have experienced the difference between road rash on shaved and unshaved skin, and it's a very real difference.
This system was already in place ten years ago at the school I went to, only it was a barcode on your ID and not an RFID chip. It was used to track attendance to chapel and linked to your cafeteria account (assuming you had one).
not entirely. bills wear out fairly quickly, and thus can be phased in.
I took a tour of the Bureau of Engraving and Printing the last time I was in DC and the guide commented that bills almost never last more than ten years, and the smaller denominations are usually "retireable" after five or less.
I rtfa, (crazy, I know) and don't understand on what grounds the suing will occur. I understand why Adobe is pissed off, but is Apple really in an actionable position? They own the SDK, the hardware, everything, they can do whatever the fuck they want. While this might not make them popular and people might not buy their shit, how is it that Adobe can sue them because Apple said they couldn't come over and play in the walled garden?
Granted, ianal (but neither is Jack Thompson!) but I am just totally baffled as to what grounds the alleged suit is being brought on.
but I'm actually a fan of Sharepoint. Have used it for years and never found it lacking for documentation management in my line of work (engineering software development field). The price is an issue for some, but it requires very little maintenance and is fairly intuitive in it's workings, even to a newer user. Most of our co-ops figure out how to use it with little or no instruction, and our senior developers (myself included) haven't complained about lack of features or expressed frustration with not being able to get something done.
I ran the update when it dropped, have been playing games and connecting to PSN, NetFlix and various web browsing with zero symptoms... maybe it only affects certain models? I have the last gen "phat" ps3
I'm not going to take sides, but you CAN buy CFLs in different color temperatures. Incadescent bulbs put out light at around 2500k or so, and you can get CFLs that range from about that all the way up to nearly 10000k, which borders on actinic (12000k).
Myself, I use different "colors" and strengths of CFLs depending on the area of my house and what's going on. examples:
garage - very bright, very harsh lighting: 150w CFL floods with no diffusers running at either 8500k or 9500k, can't remember. cold, blueish light. too bright to look straight at
kitchen - warm, diffuse light: 50w CFL diffused globes running at 4500k. faintly yellow and pleasant
bathroom where wife does makeup - golden light, intended to mimic sunlight: 75w CFL naked coils running at 3000k. yellow and fairly bright.
totally agree. I was going to post something up and saw your post.
Brutal Legend has some of the best voice acting I've ever heard in a game (not surprising from the same dude who brought us Full Throttle back in the day) and a famous cast. (Jack Black, Ozzie Osbourne, Lemmy Klimster(sp), Lita Ford, Rob Halford, Tim Curry). They all did a good job and recorded enough dialog that even during the grind, there wasn't a lot of repetition, it really kept the game fresh on subsequent replays and during multiplayer.
mine is always loaded, and always in a holster. when I sleep, the holster goes on the nightstand next to me. my wife's is kept the same way. there is nothing unsafe about this.
also, 12 seconds is plenty long enough to get hurt.

I have all sorts of keys (two cars and a motorcycle, plus office, house, bike lock) a paypal fob and a microtech.
Solution? Carabiner. just clip it to a belt loop and go.
maybe.

no. but if your attendance did not meet certain required levels, you would not receive any credit for the semester.

"I'm smart enough to know that I'm dumb" is one of my favorite quotes.
Bill: "True wisdom lies in knowing that you know nothing." ...dude, that's us!

but usually I only GET to about 10-15 hours, and spend the rest of my time dealing with meetings, documentation, etc. Coding is the fun part.
what market is Apple dominating, exactly? Don't they only have around 25% of the smartphone market?

I suspect you are right
that's a valid concern, and a good reason to consider another product.
/.
ten minutes in, and I'm already modded down for saying I've been satisfied with a MS product... typical

just my 2 cents.
Bravo!

Do I really need to say anything else at this point?
hey, I wrote my doctoral thesis on Tom Bombadil, you insensitive clod!
oh snap!
I'm sure there were quite a few bullied kids who, upon seeing the events of Columbine unfold on TV, cheered for Klebold and Harris.
thanks for the review

+1
yeah, not so much.
