Well the good thing about the critics of this LHC project, is that we won't be hearing any "I TOLD YOU SO!"

  3. Phasing of the film on Hitchhiker's Guide Reviewed · · Score: 0

Ive seen the film and I did laugh allot. All though not as much as I expected. In my opinion the problem was the phasing of the film. It was cut down to such a minimum, that it almost added to the absurdness of the story. I would not have minded spending another hour in the theater if the film had taken the time to paint the really good parts of the book well enough. Someone that hasnt read the book would most definitely benefit from seeing the film again, just to get some of the good points from book. I doubt however that they will.

Oh oh, Ive got it! (TINFOILHATT ON)

This might be their way of turning flaws and failures into a nice profit. If their search engine uses their own flaws in the OS and software, to access the information on private PCs, they could build a far much better index than anyone else out there. If this is for real, then all your WORDs and WINDOWS might be open for all.

Btw, isnt this search-on-computer thingy a new and nifty feature of their next os?

  10. Size on Recharge Batteries in 30 Secs · · Score: 1

I wonder what size these batteries can be made into, that is if this can be matched into powers required for running electric cars etc. then 30 seconds is equal to filling petrol, thus perhaps possibly maybe electric cars that can start equal an petrol car in performance, and usability. I'd say this is a small revolution? but what do I know?

  11. More humane computing on Sun Wants to Make Linux 3D · · Score: 1

    This is indeed interesting.

We humans are 3d beings, by visualizing data 3d, the computer can much easier sort of "connect" to our brain. I think that this can in a way relieve the computer by giving some of the work back to the human.

Just look at such a simple task as "remembering where I put that file", will become much more intuitive.

  13. I'm not sure... on New RFC Considers .sex TLD Dangerous · · Score: 1

I'm not so sure about this idea. Personally I think they should be a bit more cautious about opening new top level domains. I mean who would not like their own top domain, or one special for their interest. Eventually the entire yahoo-list of categories will be on a top level domain. Is this a good way of evolving the net. I think perhaps its time to think about how the net top domains should be structured logically, maybe this is the way, and the traditional way is obsolete. Does anyone of you see a better way that could be more logical and helpful in structuring the information out there? Is there something to gain by structuring the domain information in a different ways?
