I'm going to pop in with my experience. Been using Firefox and Firebird for close to 2 years, reading sladhdot for most of them, never seen this overlap problem.
Creutzfeldt-Jakobs disease (spelling?) is not highly contagious. Far from it. The risks of a person contracting it from tainted meat are blown out of proportion by politicians looking for reasons to hinder imports of meat from other countries. Even among cattle, where it is *most* common, it is still rare. The entire North American herd has only had, I believe, 2 confirmed cases of BSE in something close to 50 years. I would hardly call that common.
It figures. Rutan et all have a sleek, high tech rubber composite powered spaceship carried by a state of the art high altitude airplane. We have a kerosene powered rocket lifted into the air by a balloon.
Dell is establishing a 500 person call center right here in Edmonton in the next year or so, if I remember the newspaper article correctly. So yeah, it definitely is already happening.
Got my hopes up, for a second I thought the article might be about a sweet new amusement park ride.
"Step right up folks, the new, the amazing, Moon Bounce! Yes thats right, our state of the art ride shoots you off the surface of the Earth, slamming you into the moon, and bouncing you back, hopefully unharmed. Only 5 tickets per ride, but you must be at least 4 feet tall to participate"
In a word - yes.

Gmail eh? DeeBs@strategyplanet.com
forgot the numbers. my father makes around 20 - 25 on a good job working non union industrial, and 30 + union industrial.
Where I live, in Alberta, a union tradesman makes a hell of a lot more than a non-union worker. At least in the construction trades.
Carbon fibres eh? Can anyone say "worlds largest incandescent bulb"?
