Linux/Macintosh/Windows/Netware/Solaris user and you launch your MP3 player and it works do you really care to see if it was written in C, C++, Java, Cobol? No i don't care to see in wich language it's written, but i do care te see if my system doesn't respond for some (ore a very lot) seconds and i do care if something simple as a mp3 player uses half of my memory. i have a system with 512mb memory, when i start a java program there is 130 mb left for other programs, and yes that is also the case with smal programms... so yes java is usefull, but i do care if i want a fast system.

real to real tape also is not analog... there is a sampling rate (but much higher as your digital equipment) but I never heard digital stuff simulating analog, sound as good as the original, also the verry expensive things have a diferent sound as the original. What ever you say... it's not the same.

excuse me, that's not what I want :( But I tried to explain KDE is such a big 'thing' but also has some good points. For a faster computer (+800Mhz) it's not a problem, but slower computers become realy slow with KDE (in my opinion).

why should it be part of KOffice, I hope it's possible to install it alone on a system without KOffice or even KDE. KDE sucks, but KOffice delivers some nice programs.

Never had a problem with such things. You are talking about the pre-release i think, i know some people using it with little problems, but normaly it works fine (2.6 kernel is not verry good in the pre-release).
But the community release is the official release only earlyer released for paying customers. (and people smart enough for using bittorrent)

Normaly when you insert a new processor, your bios settings reset so there is no problem, also dumb people don't now how to acces the bios-settings. All people I helped with their computer (also the lesser dumb people) didn't now they can set more settings as possible in the win-control-pannel, thus also there is no problem.

There was such a ship (maybe here in the netherlands), it could be detected by a empty spot on the radar, there was no rustle on the ship. The buiders put some extra stuf on the skin but forgot the stairs, their own radar and so on. So in the end this stealth ship was again vissible becous it produced to much rustle... (no my english is bad, but I ask you to speak dutch and I now it can't beat my english)
