I would like to see a plugin (modular) version of this calander for your google homepage (google/ig).

Btw, If you use google homepage there are now a ton of modules available, including to-do lists.

" The first time I Googled for it I got nothing. The second time, three seconds later, I tried I got a few results."

I did the same thing but kept hitting the search button. Sometimes I would get about 7 results, sometimes I wouldn't. Huh. Odd behavior. Bug? (sorry somewhat offtopic)

Only put items in the gray area below the post which match the category of the post above it. e.g. 'IT: IE7 Leaked' would have only 'IT' articles below it in the gray area. 'Slashdot Index Code Update' post doesn't have a category so put an EMPTY gray area below it. Uniformity is good. Categorizing this is good.

I hit amazon.com looking for the book before I read the comments and saw the direct link. I search for "jack thompson" on amazon and I found his book above a list of many sexually oriented books. Especially gay male sexually oriented books. I think amazon is suggesting that jack is gay?

This reminds me of something a professor once taught me:

    1. Someone creates a problem
    2. Someone else finds a way to make the problem affect the creator (tie the problem to the creator)
    3. The problem resolves itself
    4. PROFIT!!!!

(sorry, made that last one up)

The Virtual Desktop Manager from MS Powertoys was aweful. I had a number of issues. From what I can recollect it would re-order the items in my taskbar and it would randomly close IE and/or Windows explorer windows. I had at least 2 or 3 other issues with it which caused me to uninstall it only days afterwards.
