Plausible Deniability Has to be the way forward from the TC website.

In case an adversary forces you to reveal your password, TrueCrypt provides and supports two kinds of plausible deniability:
    1. Hidden volumes (for more information, see the section Hidden Volume).
    2. It is impossible to identify a TrueCrypt volume. Until decrypted, a TrueCrypt volume appears to consist of nothing more than random data (it does not contain any kind of "signature"). Therefore, it is impossible to prove that a file, a partition or a device is a TrueCrypt volume or that it has been encrypted. However, note that for system encryption, the first drive track contains the (unencrypted) TrueCrypt Boot Loader, which can be easily identified as such (for more information, see the chapter System Encryption). In such cases, plausible deniability can be achieved by creating a hidden operating system (see the section Hidden Operating System).

I have just come to the major conclusion that all three of the main operating systems are right for different people. OSX and Apple in general - Pretty and easy to use - but arent you going to pay for it. Dont dare to want anything to different like crysis. Windows - I need MS Word and MS project etc.. so its like work and it has a major market share Linux - I can't go back to windows only now as I am addicted to the free software p!ssing about with new distros and making OSX people go oooo - how do you do that (compiz) What I really want (or not maybe) is the b4stard child of windows with a linux kernel and then the world to adopt it or just the world to adopt the distro of my choice ...mwwoohhahahaha

The N810 has a much better res screen, it runs linux, it runs lots of opensource apps. It will connect up to your 3g phone to give you 3g access. It has a keyboard. It will also run Google Android. The Apple kit is shiney but try typing an email on a touch screen hmmm nice. O and while I am at it where is that GPS in the touch ? I want a new Iphone 3g for some inexplicable reason, it is shiney and its kinda fun. I wont buy one though. I hate locked down kit.

Although that is funny. I think its extremely accurate. Its what I want, a nice popular operating system runnin on a *nix kernel so that I can use the command line if I want. Games would work, MS project would work, office 2007 would work, and so would nano and ktorrent and viking and all those lovely nix packages. If you have an ipod or are around family with ipods you will have to use itunes at some point to set it up or restore it. I actually found it harder to explain to my Mum and for everyone else I just put the music on the ipods. Amarok and GTKPOD are much better because you can quite happly put four ipods in it without one being a master. You can then copy the music off the ipod and put it on another one. All legally of course ;). Although I am an amarok/gtkpod fan I found that the itunes shop was really nice until I remembered that it would be all drmd aac and prob wouldn't run on my nokia/windows mobile/laptop. This just put me right off the whole idea as I prob wouldnt even be able to give it to another family member to listen to like I would with a book.
