IF you turn of Sean Hannity you will have a better outlook on the world instead of thinking that everything that is wrong is attibuted to Reid/Pelosi/Obama. Or has a deep seated hatred for white people and white culture, Or Obama practices Black liberation theology. Here's a clue stick. If you mention Pelosi and Reid in the same sentence you reduce your credibility exponentially. Do not spew Hannity/Oreilly/Beck/Bachmann/Palin talking points if you want to be taken seriously. Just my 2c.

WTF is it with Russian, Eastern Bloc, and Chinese corruption. When i hear about scams like this i think hhmmm Russian, Romainian etc, or Chinese and 80% of the time my hunch is correct. The only thing i see common is that most of these countries are or were under some brutal regime but I don't see how that instills such a culture of corruption in the people in this fashion.
Yell it out on top of your voice. You are the only person I have seen that has a grasp on the free market. A free market requires *informed* consumers. Consumers have to be properly informed about the merits of a product and the practices of the purveyors of such product. That is the only way consumers can make the correct decisions to vote with their wallet. Companies HATE the fee marketplace and go to great lengths to manipulate it in their favor.
agreed 100% We used to recommend exclusively Sony products to our customers. After numerous examples of Sony's hostility to their customers we no longer recommend Sony products. Its sad really. We have recommended and installed millions of dollars worth of Sony PRO equipment in the past. Now we will not ever recommend their products to anyone. We recommend people get a lawyer to go over the fine print in the license of any Sony product before purchase. Most customers just rather not deal with the hassle. Rule of thumb. If you purchase Sony products you don't own it you are only licensing it and therefore should not do so without legal advice from your lawyer.

And with all the successes they have been getting lately I encourage all on Slashdot to give what they can to support the EFF.

And everytime the EFF wins a victory I celebrate by purchasing EFF gear and giving it away to customers and friends etc. Hats, T-Shirts, keyrings etc. I am not from the State of Delaware or Utah so I have no influence there. I have more influence and get more results donating to the EFF. BTW? How do you boycott the voting public? Is there something you know that we don't?
As someone who has done the whole Sony Style thing and has installed millions of dollars worth of Sony professional equipment over the last decade and who has recommended several million dollars more of Sony professional equipment alone with several million dollars worth of Sony home theater equipment I think I am a position to influence those that I deal with on a daily basis. Sure it wont hurt them but every trickle counts. In our field Panasonic, and Canon are quite competitive to Sony products. So I won't be recommending their products to our customers anymore and will actively inform customers to STAY CLEAR of their products and why they should.
