    Microsoft saved Apple so they couldn't be seen as a monopoly. If Apple ever decided to threaten the MS position, then Office and IE would be yanked so fast.


    As a long time Mac user I'd invite Microsoft to go ahead.

    In fact 2005 just called, IE has LONG been discontinued on the Mac.

    Luckily, they haven't changed the license agreement on the BitTorrent version of Vista, the only one I'm even mildly interested in anyway.

    I think the funniest part of your post is the fact that Americans have been conditioned to believe a Cadillac Escalade is a "luxury vehicle". It might be an upscale SUV, but luxury? Oh, dear.
    With the american middle class evaporating with outsourcing and the growth of the Walmart generation the Escalade is as much a luxury item as a Mac is the Rolls Royce of computers.

    Criticisms of that idea aside, most people find it very emotionally upsetting to accidentally kill other people. It's worthwhile for the law to protect people from that.
    I only find it disturbing if I am going to get fined or have my license revoked or worse still have to go to jail.

    Running some versions of Windows Vista in a virtual environment won't be supported either and would break the terms of the license agreement. I'm not sure if breaking the EULA is an illegal thing or just that Microsoft can turn off the OS from afar and you're SOL.
    I wonder if this guy also broke the EULA?

    I understood the meaning of his post just fine. Perhaps you should brush up on your language skills instead.

    Can't understand less than perfect english? Wah wah! Welcome to the real world where quite a fair bit of people do not speak English natively.

    After the HD-DVD crack, I realized that things where "unbalanced" by having just one format cracked, so I did Blu-Ray too.
