I run a Win2K DNS server on base for our primary. With IPsec policy and Router ACLs the box is very stable and robust. I am kind of wondering why people have such problems with DNS. I am sure A linux DNS box would work superb too but I dont know. Anyone clue me in?

Right I am talking about WS not Servers. For now AMD has the upper hand with the AMD64's. The P4 was the first CPU that Intel had made that wasnt that impressive.
Just like the Pontiac Aztec or the Ford Festiva. The p4 is not as good as the others. But Intel needs to step it up and bring in a Server CPU that puts the ball in AMDs court to improve.
The fact that they seem to run smoother (with Windows anyway). They run cooler and seem to be more robust. Also I have never seen an Intel CPU go bad (when it is not over clocked). These are just my Observations. Either way they are both good pruducts and I like the diversity that they both bring to the table.
For the Money AMD is a good buy. Power+Performance at a low cost. However Intels chips are much better manufactured and designed IMHO. Had I had the Extra money I would have sprang for the Pentium but I was able to get better video card and more memory for the price diff with the AMD.
I am running a ATI 9600xt and playing BF; Vietnam. Anyone else notice that if you lower the video quality the picture quality is the same but the game play is much better. What gives?
what the hell are you talking about? When done correctly and in a manner as not to abuse the limitations of the equpiment you will get 100K plus out of a turbo or supercharged engine. Thinking that factories do everything possible for fuels and performance is a really ignorant view. They dumb down certian things for extra padding on reliability and for cost cutting.
You mean like eXtreme? eXtreme means that it is way better than before. Much more chance of being cool while doing it. Like trucker hats and Butt Rock clothing. Its for the Sheep of the early 2000.
