Use long passwords for encryption (minimum 10 chars, preferably 20).
Use upper-case, lower-case, numbers, and symbols.
Do NOT use the password anywhere else or write it down. Sorry, but you're going to have to commit it to memory.
Do not use windows built in encryption or any retail encryption schemes. Use open source.
Truecrypt is not open source, but people use it anyway, so read up first before you decide.
The vast majority of the streaming is flash encapsulated. The host can use any codec they want and it is transparent to the client.
By doing this, the client never notices, and they don't pay royalties. It's more likely than you think.
A friend of mine is working for an entity involved in this. AT&T was trying to negotiate the (new) contract down, created and uproar and then this happened.
They are 99% sure it was disgruntled CWA workers.
Anyone here even realize you don't have an app installed that you really want?

Seconding Zipzoomfly, I've gotten some heavy duty stuff from them.
Thermaltake armor case (rev 00)
Creative Gigaworks S750(for $230 on clearance, MSRP $499)
And a bunch of other small stuff.
I noticed this the day it happened. Called tech support to have it turned off, and he was clueless, or attempting to mislead me.
I am very pissed off, can can't see how to fix this. I am probably going to just block earthlink.net on my router.
I will possibly purchase so HD movies, but no equiptment other than an HD monitor. Why?
Because I won't buy any Hi-Def content till someone's pulled a DVD Jon on it/them.
So I was over at a friends yesterday, and they just got an Xbox 360, and had it hooked up through component. And I wanted to see this HD stuff, (they were using Halo 2).
So we start playing for a bit, and as a gamer, and the owner of a 1920x1200 monitor, I am spotting upscaling artifacts. I mention this, but they say they are positive they set it for HD.
Eventually I just up and quit the game and go to the menu, I hop over to video options, and it's on 480p, with 720p and 1080i just sitting there unselected...
sad really.
I set it to 1080i, and the menu looked very nice, but Halo was still upscaling from 640x480.
Then they said they coulden't see a difference in the menu...
yeah, these formats are going to crash and burn like UMD, hopefully.

Yeah, I mean, voice across Fiber Optics? Madness.
They did actually. It was quite a show from what I've read.
Does anyone still think pure electronic elections are even a remotely good idea anymore?
My normal 3G gets quite hot (not unhandlably, but enough to be uncomfortable) when using GPS. If the 3GS is worse, it could easily be to hot to hold.
Foxit reader.
My DSL line is physically leased by earthlink from covad. I use opendns, no redirection away from opendns.

If they pretend it is going to be free until people get locked in, then pull the pay me or get sued stunt.... then yes.
Honestly, I don't mind them delaying it a bit. It's not like they weakened it; they'll get there eventually

$100 isn't very much. As low spec as that is, it's very good for $100. I don't know why they were bashing it so much.
Postin to say I have a unicomp with the quietkeys, doesn't work well for holding down for FPSes, works excellently for typing.
Vendor B is Cisco btw. Dunno why they were being vague.

Odin Sphere is a very good 2D only game. The lag in some of the fights is ridiculous though (it's just sprites wtc?)
