That's a scary thought. I'd rather see no fighting at all then robots or humans. And for some reason if I volunteered my time to protect the sovereignty of my nation, I'd rather have a human soldier by my side then a robot. Countries mass producing armies legions of robot soldiers... Do you WANT the human race to blow up Earth?!
The commission, as well as rival software makers, have argued that bundling programs such as Media Player into Windows is anticompetitive, because it puts rival music and video players such as Real Networks' RealOne Player and Apple's QuickTime at a disadvantage.
Does anyone know if this is can be compared to the whole Internet Explorer uninstall battle? I've never had any problems with WMP interfering. Realoneplayer and quicktime all provide free versions, what competition is there? Quicktime by default doesn't even play most video codecs. I don't understand exactly how this will change the way general people use WMP, realplayer, or quicktime. And does the EU enforcing their rules even effect the US at all?
I never played Fallout 1, but I sure did spend 99% of one summer playing the sequel. You could do all kinds of things with your character, marry, practice prostitution (both ways), have affairs, scandals, and what not. Sexual orientation was often not designed towards a certain association.
a lot of computers boot from cd. back in the windows 98 days i could skip the whole process of booting DOS with a slow floppy disk by making a cdrom with windows 98SE clean install files on it as well as the boot files that would normally go on a floppy. that made it all very easy. you can also create a cd that has lots of boot options. i could boot freedos, the linux kernel, and so on easily and efficiently all from one cd, which doesn't go bad randomly like a lot of floppies or take forever to load. granted, i still keep them lying around my room, but i'd use a cd first if possible.
And I'm quite sure that Styrofoam isn't ment to break apart in water...
nowadays a lot of the Styrofoam-like material used for package peanuts is made from starch. it dissolves in water pretty quickly. i am assuming these were made to avoid CFCs.
Nothing about his activites seemed very interesting until I read this part:
He says he purchased two pornography Web sites, again via spam, and ran them for a while, but then he decided they weren't worth the trouble and disabled them.
Spam that advertises buying and managing for porn sites? What?!
My western digital hard drive is completely silent unless you put your ear nearby. However, I recall that I could hear a distinct difference in volume when I was using linux or windows 98. it was much audible from a couple feet away while running linux, but completely silent under windows 98. in fact, the first time i ever actually could hear my hard drive clearly (this is all reading/writing data, not the spinning platters) was when i first installed mandrake and used the disk partitioner.
Not all athletes are out there to make tons of money and use drugs as a shortcut to better performance. A long term athlete makes a long term commitment in persuing an ultimate goal (ie, succeeding in Olympics, world competition). People had different views of, for example, anabolic steroids in the 70s than they do now. A lot of risks were not immediately apparent. However, I believe you're making an overgeneralization concerning the difference between someone that just wants to boost performance at whacking at a baseball for dollars and another who wants to commit several years of training to achieve a substantial goal in performance such as marathon running. There is a difference.
It's not really a drug that artificially enhances performance I don't think. I guess perhaps it's a more accurate way of doing things like monitoring heartbeat, getting the best workout and such. Athletes such as divers use machines to measure lung capacity and gradually work on how long they can hold their breath (to be brief). I think this opens the field up to even more precise measuring overall. And it could also be used as a safety tool for patients in therapy.
I read the press releases a while ago last year. I recall it being a "worldwide agreement". I dunno much else. the press release from HP is here. i searched for mandrake's too.
The whole singing thing really wouldn't be my kind of thing to enjoy. But the orchestra I would definitely buy a ticket for. You can actually find it out on a CD here and some Ogg and MP3 files in a another directory here
EXERCISE!! An activity like jogging promotes the release of neurotrophins and dendritic branching. Healthy neurons equal healthy mental operation.

Hmm, not sure. I first installed linux with Mandrake 7.1. I believe it had journaling then.
how it works it also has more informative links.
it's that damn power supply fan. a nice tap to the top of the case shuts it up. i do it all the time to my friends computers and they yell at me.

artifical muscles? yikes, that'd be rather complex. it's always easier in theory than in practice.
