But isn't philosophy a form of Art ? I mean isn't a creation defined as Art not by what the creation is in itself, but more by, not only the feelings it generates from the audience, but also by the explanation you give of it. In that way philosophy is clearly a type of art (and thus isn't opposed to it) and could be defined as an Art of perception.
Let me guess, from which medium does the unauthorized downloaded music come from ?
I do not think it comes in major part from the music services such as iTunes...
So how do they manage to analyze such statistics in the first place anyway ?
It sounds a lot like an excuse to revive the old CD protection war...
Even if a lot of answers will get to the point that they can have access to adult material younger,I think this is not a problem when you have your kids correctly educated.
Nowadays people tend to think that their kids will get education at school or through Tv programs, and when they are not satisfied with those, they just sue the school/Tv channel, instead of having smart discussions with their kids (which they think, cannot understand complex subjects such as violence and/or sex).
Moreover, giving your kids a laptop/computer could give you the opportunity to tell them about the Internet, about social changes it has brought and/or maybe educate them about the media in general.
On the other hand it might not be such a good idea if not supervised correctly, as it might take a lot of time of your youngster and could replace family communication and/or social activity (I do not consider chatting as a sufficient social activity, sorry for those who get offensed.).
So in brief, this is not forcefully a wrong idea but it should be made with the parents supervision and education.
This is not really surprising, when searching with filetype:mp3 in google, the search gets somewhat filtered/censored, what you can do is a search for a different extension, for instance.m4a (which is the same as.mp3 but doesn't get filtered.).
Hope this will help, though it might not be seen by a lot of ppl (damned karma:)).
I totally agree with what you are stating but it wouldn't be stupid to think that the Nasa might also be trying to be a bit "over-dramatic" in order to revive the passion people used to have regarding space flight, getting people more implicated in such issues always makes it easier when it comes to budget questions, and they truely need some more right now.
Even if creationism could be considered as being the "easy way" to try and interpret things, instead of having a hard time experimentating to find the right answer, using the "it must have been created by some holy spirit" ideology truely seems to reveal a certain lazyness, one could consider creationism as futile, since it can be interpreted as not being the opposite of darwinism, but as a part of evolution itself: in order to oppose the arguments advanced by the intelligent designers, scientifics are forced to adapt their methods and technics, thus making science and human condition evolve...
I think tiscali.fr is offering 16Mbit for 30Euros/month in France already. The only screwup seems to be that 1st) they do not tel anywhere on the mage its clearly 16Mbit/sec eventhough from people feedback it is and 2nd) its only available in big cities...
But honestly I was quite surprised when I first saw that...

Avira is a nice choice, you can get rid of the ad by adding a new path based security policy restricting access to the "avnotify.exe" process.

...just a thought like that.

Will their anti-spyware tool now recognize MS software as spyware ?
In Soviet Russia, "fair" news balances you!
Why would slashdot link to such "Fair and Balanced" news ? Aren't there any other completely unfair and bribed sources for the story ?
I have only one thing to say: "Les sanglots longs des violons de l'automne, bercent mon coeur d'une langueur monotone."
