Does windows still abandon file-copying operations when one single file out of a huge directory structure one is trying to copy from one volume to another fails?

This always annoyed me. I would fantasise about paying for my microsoft products thusly "£200? No problem. Here's the first penny, here's the second penny, here's the third penny, Ooops! I dropped the third penny! Well, that is the transaction completed, goodbye."

Ooooh! I am going into a visionary trance again. OMG! Oh, it is teh futures! Everyone (except cops, the ruling class, other important people) has speed enforcement devices fitted to their vehicles. Oooh! The new crime is inappropriate positioning on the road! Crazy madmen are varying the distance their vehicle is from the curb while travelling! Will no-one think of the children? The cops are calling for funding to combat this menace. Roadside billboards say 'Don't kill a bunch of children, keep 0.9 metres from the kerb!'. Oh, the vision is fading now. Fading.

You are too narrow-minded, I am quite willing to pay for DRM content. I do stipulate restrictions on how my money (and it is *my money*, i designed it myself) is used: it cannot be transferred to another country, nor transferred electronically, it is forbidden to reproduce likenesses of it, I offer no guarantee that it will continue to function, I reserve the right to cancel it at any time without notice, etc.
