    it's because he doesn't know what he is talking about, sure you could render this on a system a mile away and then stream the output to you home computer, but it would still need tobe able to render the 1080p (or higher signal) and the latency would be crazy high. (5/10 seconds?)

    how about did you play the demo? because i did and again you are just saying things that have no bearing in reality when all reality is yelling that you are wrong.

    hmm, in the video the player was clearly picking up health and when the health was showing "Low Health" it did not increase even after standing still for 10 seconds..

    Also in regards to jumping, the video showed a low gravity type of jumping response but in no way a double jump.

    although this is what i gathered from the video, i also played the demo and it had neither of these.

    TF2 cost money when it first came out as well, then it went free... this is the same thing Blizzard is doing.. paid to see if they can recoup devel costs then if it is successful use it to drive their platform (blizzard.net, which they already have a free game that has driven usage in part)

    someone who is a canadian citizen? someone who uses the canadian internet? someone who is physically IN canada?

    what is the copyright holder going to do in either case? not get paid by me for sure.. but otherwise.. what are you arguing here? that it's immoral?

    do we need another voice telling us what is immoral or not?

    the answer is the same as to "do we need another copyright shill arguing that IP = P and expected profits should = actual profits"?

    because it isn't like any "property" that has ever existed before.. it is virtual.

    If i copy a movie, it doesn't take away a movie from someone else, nor does it deprive the creator of money from it's performance since they don't want the money anyway (take this example). it doesn't hurt anyone so why is it a crime?

    it's not analogous to any other part of life.. it is distinct.

    that's assuming this is true, but until you change the whole skew of your marketing/game making/demographics to include them, you won't know if it's actually true....

    a better "analogy" would be the games industry, which made games of all types, those that were popular because they were good appealed to "people", the people who played those games seemed to be of the majority male, flash forward to today and the mobile gaming market, where the "people" who like mobile games are of the majority female (browser based games as well, oh my!).

    so what would we take away from this? that games that men like are sexist and need to be more inclusive to women of course!
