If I remember correctly, the checks expired in May, so if you haven't received it yet, you probably won't be. I also got mine several months ago and already deposited it.
Its a common misbelief that having something change on a screen for a few frames is subliminal messaging. If you can actually see what the message is, it is NOT subliminal. Subliminal messaging is when the message they are trying to show you isn't noticed by your senses, but still makes it to the brain anyway.
Let's hope this method of reducing spam will work. I have noticed that less spam I receive comes from Hotmail, Yahoo, etc. type e-mails, but hopefully this will help more.
I am curious just how much work is involved in publishing these lists, and more importantly, how often are they updated? If they don't get real time or near-real time updates, they aren't going to be very useful.
They didn't expect the rovers to die after 90 days, the engineers just guaranteed that parts wouldn't fail within the first 90 days. A warranty of sorts. When they launched, they said there was a good chance of them working beyond the first 90 days.
Just a side note, her name is Dr. Carolina Cruz-Neira...trust me I know, I work for her. If you want some more stuff on CAVEs, take a look at our website at ISU, we have C4 and C6. C6 is the first 6 sided fully immersive synthetic environment in the US.

I'd second the comment eariler to try Salling Clicker or the Logitech MX900. The MX900 works with the built-in Bluetooth in your Powerbook, so you don't have to use the base station for anything other than recharging the batteries, which is also optional (it takes standard AA batteries). Salling Clicker allows you to use your Bluetooth enabled phone to run presentations, iTunes, DVD Player, VLC, and others. IR is nice, but directional, so if you tend to wander, it isn't a good option. If you do want an IR option, the Keyspan Presenter is a very good choice, works very well and is cheap.
Any OS install CD that can boot the computer. I normally say the discs that came with it because they are sure to have a late enough version. For example, to boot G5, you need to use 10.2.7 or later. An old iMac, on the other hand, could boot on an older version of OS X.
One place you can look to see what was installed on your computer...go to/Library/Receipts. This has a small.pkg file that is left behind every time something is installed through a package on the computer (which anything but a basic application will have). This should give you an idea of everything that has been installed on the computer since the OS was installed. Also, to reset your main password, put in the original OS install disc that came with the computer. Under File, you can select an option to reset passwords.
Are the prosecuting the person who took him seriously also? You'd think that the person on the phone at the restaurant would have said something like "Are you talking to me?" or "How do you know?"
120 HZ (60 HZ / eye) is needed to get 3D with a decent refresh rate per eye. Slower than this and you can notice a flicker in the display too easily.
Congrats - you got your wife Slashdotted.

Sounds cool...I'm anxious to hear what antennas actually matter.
Its probably being modded as Redundant.
Mars: I fart in your general direction!

If you read his comment, he said he had a PowerBook. This would mean no Windows, and most likely not Linux either.
