It's nobodies fault by ATI. If you are somehow blaming linux or linux developers for not writing drivers for ATI then you are delusional. It's probably illegal for them to do so and nobody should risk jail time just to make sure you have a video driver. The job of writing the driver belongs with the maker of the hardware. If they don't support your OS complain to them.
Too late. Java has already been forked by MS and now it's called C#. Furthermore languages like python and ruby are already nipping at the heels of java as more and more programmers want a simpler way to code their applications. Java salwarts like Bruce Eckels have written much more eloquently on this then I can but there is no doubt people are migrating away from java in droves as java gets more and more complicated.
I put the firefox livebookmarks on my toolbar. they update automatically and I can scan the headlines quickly by running my mouse along the toolbar. The feed is sorted by date most recent first. If I am interested in a headline I just click on it and go. If I am not interested then I stay at the page I am at. This is exactly how I want rss to work.
If that is so I gotta hand it to the firefox team for making one hell of an improvment over apple's implementation. I love livebookmarks, so much more practical and usefull then the safari's use of RSS.

If you are using an RSS reasder you better stop right now and wait till MS comes out with their vastly superior RSS format and reader. It's a killer app, MS will be betting the company on it!. Truly, honest, you better stop using competing products because all those companies will go out of business the day the new RSS reader comes out.
If MS is willing to tag all email not using their patented protocol as spam then they would indeed to break the existing standard. You think they all discovered jesus all of a sudden and are now going to act ethically? I think not.
Don't take my word for it, ask the palestenians how those AK47s are working against the israeli military. The fact is the small arms are completely useless when you are trying to overthrow the tyranny of a well armed and trained army. The palestenians have resorted to car bombs and suicide bombs as the only weapon they can afford that seems to have any effect at all.
So until the second amendment specifiacally allows you to build bombs in your basement and legally let you stockpile bomb making quipment and supplies it's useless. Your guns (and those of yoru neighbors) are useless against the might of the US army.
Look at any armed insurgency in the last decade and you will see that the only ones that were successful were supplied with high power weaponry like stingers, chemical weapons, etc.

I have never heard any republican politician call for the elimination of social security, medicare, medicaid, public schools, and govt subsidies for farmers, ranchers, loggers and miners. They are all socialists, they just believe the govt should benefit different people. Republicans believe that poeple should be taxed and that money should be turned over to corporations whenever possible. A different kind of socialism but socialism nevertheless. I suppose technically one can make a case that what republicans do is closer to fascism then socialism but i'll leave that for another day.

The idea that you are going to hold off the US army with a 357 or a shotgun is laughable. The second amendment is useless until it allows enough ordinance to repel a govt invasion of your property, today that means anti aircraft weaponry or terrorism supplies.

The republicans denying state rights in medical marijuana and assisted suicide and the florida election fiasco while the democrats are affirming states rights in this case and the ones mentioned previously. Combine that with the shrinking of the govt during clinton, and growing the govt under bush. Fiscally responsible policies in clinton and spend like a drunken sailor during the bush administration and you have the makings of a complete 100% turnabout in what was thought the be the bedrock principles of the dominant parties.

Furthermore the medical marijuana was never transported across state lines. It was grown locally and distributed within the same state.
