  2. PDA in the great outdoors on PDA Designed for the Great Outdoors · · Score: 0

Ok, maybe this is just me but.... Unless you have a satellite uplink(run off a hand generator or something similar)and a small wireless network to share with the flora and fauna, those wireless connections aren't gonna do you much good. I will give you that it's fine for transferring data to it before venturing out into the wild blue yonder. However, what does this device buy you other than being a really cool toy to throw in the river to show off with? I say buy you a kick-a$$ GPS and call it a day. At least as far as the great outdoors is concerned....

  3. Cut the RIAA off at the knees on The Perfect Online Music Store? · · Score: 0

I would like to see an online music store that has the guts to say "screw you RIAA" and deal with artists directly. You could probably see a drop in prices by about 30-40% and the artists would be rolling in the dough....

Why don't they just form it into a nice little arrow/bullet shape and use that instead of depleted uranium in the military.... That way it will be in one of 3 places, a firing range, a foreign country, or an enemy of the US. :) Ready.... aim.... glow.........

  7. Re:mistakes on Europeans To Monitor American Voters · · Score: 1

There was a d@mn good reason for the president to be elected by the Electoral College. By not being responsible to the majority will, it eliminated the possibility of a super-popular person, like hitler was for Germany, from seizing control and creating a dictatorship in America. Since that time, the electoral college has been altered. It's just come to the point where the popular vote of the state USUALLY gets all that state's electoral votes. This means that if the election campaign targets the correct states properly, a president will be elected without a majority. This in effect does harken back to the original idea, but it mainly just makes states less likely to divide up electoral votes because it weakens their hold on presidential campaigns. And, losing those campaigns, also loses the states alot of fast money every election cycle that they would otherwise net in advertising and other fees.
